How To Schedule a Google Meet in Advance

There is a new video-chat service called Google Meet.You can learn how to schedule a Google Meet in advance using either the mobile or computer version of the calendar.You can't use the meet app to schedule meetings in advance.

Step 1: You can open the calendar on the internet.

This app icon looks like a blue date card with the current date displayed that you'll find on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer or by searching.

Step 2: You can tap +.

There's a multicolored plus icon in the lower right corner.

Step 3: There is a tap event.

You will see this option next to the calendar icon.

Step 4: The event/Meet details should be added.

The title, dates, times, and any other information can be added.

Step 5: Go to Add VideoConferencing.

This is near the middle of the details list.

Step 6: Add people.

When you start typing, your contacts will show up.

Step 7: Use the tap to save.

This is in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 8: Send or don't send.

If you want to send an invite email to those you've invited, tap the appropriate response.

Step 9: Go tocalendar.google.com and sign in

You will not be able to continue if you're not signed in.

Step 10: Click to create.

The calendar window has a plus sign in the top left corner.

Step 11: Click Add if you want to use video conferencing.

There is a video camera in a speech bubble next to the blue button.

Step 12: Give the meeting a name by adding guests and scheduling a time.

If the guests you've invited have their public calendars visible to you, you can click to see when and what time everyone is available.If your guests don't use Google Calendars, this may not be a feature you can use.There should be more information in the sections available.Click if you would like to add more information.

Step 13: Click it to save.

There is an event details window in the bottom right corner.

Step 14: Click don't send or send.

If you want to send an email invitation to all the people you've invited, click the appropriate response.
