How To Search for Multiple Places in Google Maps

You can find out how to search for multiple destinations in the internet.You can either add locations to the route or create a map that shows the directions between them.

Step 1: You can open the maps on the internet.

If you're using a mobile device, look for a colorful pin icon on a white background.If you're using a computer, you can go to Maps on a browser.

Step 2: Find a place.

You can type the name of the location you're looking for in the search bar.If you tap or hit on the option, it will appear in the results or you can choose from the list.The name of a business or location can be used in the search.

Step 3: Click or tap to get directions.

There is a button in the bottom of the picture.

Step 4: Pick a place to start.

Click on the box to choose your current location or type in a different location.

Step 5: You should add a stop.

To use the app, tap the 3 dots in the top right.Click below the first destination if you're on a computer.You can type in the name of the new location.

Step 6: You can add a third location.

You can type in the name of another place if you tap or click on the text box.If you have more, add it to the text box.To rearrange stops, tap or click on 2 lines on the side of a stop and drag it to its new spot.

Step 7: If you're on the app, select Finished.

The blue text is on the right.The recommended route will be shown.You don't need to do this step if you're on a computer.The route will show up on the screen.

Step 8: You can launch the My Maps app on a mobile device.

"My Maps" can be found in the Play Store.Open the app after you download and install it.If your phone is already set up with your account, you don't need to sign in.

Step 9: You can create a map.

The green (plus) icon is in the bottom right of the screen.

Step 10: You should name and describe your map.

You can type in your name and description in the popup window.

Step 11: Find a street.

You can type a location name or address in the search bar.The location can be found from the search results.

Step 12: You can add to the map.

The location description box will show this.

Step 13: The layer should be named.

Click on the checkmark in the top right to enter a name.

Step 14: The steps for each location are the same.

Pick the location from the search results, then tap on it.If it's in the same account, you can find these maps later.To view these maps later in the app, you have to tap at the bottom.You may have to use the right hand to find it.To view the maps on a computer, you need to sign in with the same account that you use for My Maps.Click the 3 lines in the top left.

Step 15: Go to my maps on a browser.

If you're already using that browser, you don't need to sign in with your account.

Step 16: You can create a map.

The icon is in the bottom right of the screen.

Step 17: Name and describe your location.

You can enter your map's name and description by clicking in the top left.

Step 18: You can find a location.

You can type a location name or address in the search bar.The location can be found from the search results.

Step 19: You can add to the map.

There is a location description box that pops up.

Step 20: If you want, name the layer.

It will be saved as "untitled".If you want to give it a name, click the 3 dots next to it.This is not required.

Step 21: The steps for each location are the same.

Select the location from the search results if you want to type it in.If you log into the same account, you can find these maps later.To view the maps later in the app, tap on at the bottom of the screen.You might need to use the right hand to find it.To view the maps on a computer, you have to sign in with the same account that you use for My Maps.Click the 3 lines in the top left to select.
