How To See Traffic Patterns on Google Maps on an iPhone
In order to plan your route, you need to know how heavy the traffic is in a given location.
Step 1: You can open the app.
If you don't already have a primary account in Maps, you should use your email and password.
Step 2: You can tap.
This is in the top left corner of the screen.
Step 3: You can select traffic.
It should be blue.You will be able to see traffic patterns in any location you choose.If the option is already blue, traffic patterns can be seen on the map.
Step 4: The screen has a right side.
The user menu will be closed.You will be able to see different colored lines over the main roads in your area.
Step 5: You can review the traffic patterns in your area.
You can pinch your fingers to zoom in or out, or you can drag your finger across the screen to move the map location.The color of the road will be determined by how busy it is.Moderate traffic with yellow and orange.Heavy traffic.There is no data available for White.
Step 6: It's a good idea to plan your trip accordingly.
Depending on traffic results, you may have to leave earlier.If you want to see traffic patterns in a different area, you can type a location into the search bar.
