How To Send Documents Securely via Gmail

You can learn how to send documents securely in Gmail on a computer and the mobile app.You can set when the email expires, require a password, and set other privacy settings in confidential mode.Those you send confidential emails to are unable to download, copy, paste, or forward from your email.

Step 1: Go to Gmail.

It looks like a green, red, yellow, and blue envelope that you can find on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.If you don't have the app, you can download it for free from either the App Store or the Play Store.

Step 6: The password and expiration features should be set.

You can set the email to expire in a number of ways.If you use a "Standard" password for other Gmail users, they will be able to open the email normally, while non-Gmail users will receive a separate email with the password in it.You need to know the phone number of the recipients of your email so that you can send a message with a password.

Step 7: You can save or checkmark it.

You can see it at the top right corner of your screen.

Step 8: You can create an email.

The "To" and "Subject" fields need to be filled in before you can send a message.You'll see your settings when you open the email since it's a confidential one.You can change these settings by tapping.Attach documents to your email with the paper clip icon.

Step 9: There is a tap.

There is a paper airplane icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 10: There is a link to this at https://mail.google.com.

Step 11: Click to compose.

The plus sign is next to the button on the left side of the screen.There is a mini window in the lower right corner of the screen.

Step 12: Click on the lock and clock icon.

Step 13: The password and expiration features can be set.

You can set the email to last for a day, a week or a month, or for five years.You can choose between "No SMS passcode" or "Sms Passcode".Non-Gmail users will receive a separate email with the password in it, even though every confidential email is locked with a password.You need to know the phone number of the recipients of your email so that you can send a message with a code.

Step 14: Click it to save.

The "Confidential mode" window is about to close.

Step 15: You can create an email.
