You can learn how to send money with the Zelle app.If you have installed your bank's mobile app, you can skip this article and use the Zelle transfer tools.
Step 1: Zelle can be downloaded from the App Store or the Play Store.
You can use Zelle to transfer money to other people who use the app.You can search for "Zelle" by typing it into the search bar at the top of your screen or in the app store.The app developer is called Early Warning Services.If your bank or credit union uses Zelle, you don't have to create an account.You will be prompted to log in with a current account when you first open Zelle.Basic contact information, a credit or debit card associated with a U.S. based account, and your email address and phone number are all you need to create an account.You can receive and send money with Zelle once you create your account.
Step 2: It is possible to open Zelle.
The app icon is similar to a cash symbol, with a line through it, that you can find on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.If you're still in the app store, you can open the Zelle app.
Step 3: You can tap Send.
Near the top of your screen, you should see this.If you're using the app for the first time, you need to give it permission to access your contacts list.
Step 4: You can send money by tapping a contact.
You can add a new contact by entering an email address or phone number in the bar at the top of your screen.You might have to choose between sending money to their email or phone number if they have different accounts.If your contact doesn't have Zelle, you will send them a money notification and invite them to create an account.
Step 5: You can enter how much you want to send.
The amount you want to send can be entered with the keypad.If you don't connect your Zelle account to a bank or credit union, you will not be able to send large amounts of money at the same time.
Step 6: Review and then send it.
The selected amount is sent to the recipient.A Zelle payment notification will be sent to the recipient via text message or email.If the recipient does not have a Zelle account, you cannot cancel the payment.You can cancel the payment if the recipient does not have a Zelle account.
