How To Set Up Drop in with Alexa

You can learn how to set up the Drop In feature on yourAlexa-enabled devices.Drop In allows you to talk and listen to the same thing.Drop In can be enabled for certain contacts and friends that you allow so you can communicate with other devices that aren't on your account.When another person drops in on your device, you will hear a chime and they will be able to talk to you instantly.

Step 1: The app is open.

If you have a mobile phone, open the app and sign in to your Amazon account.The app has a white outline of a speech bubble.Make sure you sign in to the same account that you registered your device with.

Step 2: You can tap.

It's in the left corner.There is a pop-out menu on the left-side of the screen.

Step 3: You can tap on the settings.

It's the last option on the menu.

Step 4: Pick the device you want to enable Drop In with.

From your listed devices, tap the device name.

Step 5: You can drop in by scrolling down and tapping.

Before you can drop in on your contacts, you have to wait for them to grant you permission.If you give someone else permission to Drop In on your devices, that doesn't mean they'll let you do it.
