How To Set Up Sky on Demand

Sky On Demand is a service offered by Sky TV that allows you to watch your favorite television shows and movies on demand at no additional cost.If you have a broadband Internet service, you can set up Sky On Demand using a wired or wireless connection.

Step 1: You can use the services button on your Sky remote.

Step 2: The arrow buttons on your remote can be used to select settings and system details.

Step 3: The number next to the software version does not begin with 4E30

Sky boxes that have software versions beginning with 4E30 are not compatible with On Demand.

Step 4: The internet and power lights are on.

This means your internet connection is powered on.

Step 5: Plug one end of the cable into the open port.

Step 6: Attach the other end of the cable to the green port on the Sky box.

Step 7: You can select "Catch Up TV" with the arrow buttons on your Sky remote.

Step 8: You can choose from the options provided if you want to watch any television show.

You have successfully connected Sky On Demand if the show is labeled available.

Step 15: To catch up on TV, use the arrow buttons on your Sky remote.

Step 16: From the options provided, select any television show.

Step 20: Press the Services button on your remote, then scroll to and select the settings.

Step 21: Click to connect with password after scrolling to and selecting "Network."

The Sky box will look for nearby wireless networks.

Step 22: Enter your network password after selecting the name of your wireless network.

Step 23: Press the red button on your remote if you want to access On Demand service.

Step 24: To catch up on TV, use the arrow buttons on your Sky remote.

Step 25: From the options provided, select any television show.

You have successfully connected Sky On Demand if the show is labeled Available.

Step 26: You can use the services button on your Sky remote.

Step 27: The arrow buttons on your remote can be used to select settings and system details.

Step 28: The number next to the software version does not begin with 4E30

Sky boxes that have software versions beginning with 4E30 are not compatible with On Demand.

Step 29: The Sky button is on your remote.

Step 30: You need to locate the miniusb cable that came with the Sky Wireless MINI.

Step 31: Attach the large end of the cable to the port on the back of your Sky box.

Step 32: Attach the smaller end of the cable to the mini port.

You can restart your Sky Box by detecting the Sky MINI.

Step 33: You can restart the Sky box by pressing "select" on your Sky remote.

Step 34: Wait four minutes after restarting the Sky box, then press the "Sky" button.

You will be prompted to connect the Sky box to the internet.

Step 35: The internet lights are lit up by the "Power," "Wireless," and "Internet" lights.

Step 36: For two seconds, press and hold the "WPS" button.

Step 37: Within one minute, you can make the connection by pressing the "WPS" button on your Sky MINI.

Step 38: To catch up on TV, use the arrow buttons on your Sky remote.

Step 39: You can choose from the options provided if you want to watch any television show.

You have successfully connected Sky On Demand if the show is labeled Available.

Step 40: The Sky remote has a button for services.

Step 41: The arrow buttons on the remote can be used to select settings and system details.

Step 42: The number next to the software version does not begin with 4E30

Sky boxes that have software versions beginning with 4E30 are not compatible with On Demand.

Step 43: The Sky button is on your remote.

Step 44: The Sky Wireless Connection MINI has a miniusb cable.

Step 45: Attach the large end of the cable to the port on the back of your Sky box.

Step 46: Attach the small end of the cable to the mini port.

You can restart your Sky Box by detecting the Sky MINI.

Step 47: You can restart the Sky box by pressing "select" on your Sky remote.

Step 48: Wait four minutes after restarting the Sky box to press the "Sky" button.

The system will display a list of nearby wireless networks.

Step 49: You can enter your network password by selecting the name of your wireless network.

Step 50: Press the red button on your remote if you want to access On Demand service.

Step 51: To catch up on TV, use the arrow buttons on your Sky remote.

Step 52: From the options provided, select any television show.

You have successfully connected Sky On Demand if the show is labeled Available.

Step 53: If you can't connect to Sky On Demand, try restarting your Sky box.

This will help reestablish a strong connection to your Sky On Demand service.

Step 54: If you can't connect to Sky On Demand, you need to make sure the cable is firmly connected to the internet.

A loose cable can prevent you from connecting to On Demand.

Step 55: If you have trouble establishing an Internet connection between your Sky box and Internet router, you can re-enter your network password.

The Sky remote must be used to enter your network password.

Step 56: If you can't connect to On Demand service on your Sky box, you should be able to use the broadband network connection feature.

If this feature is disabled, you won't be able to connect to the internet.Press the Services button on your Sky remote and select "Customize." Use the arrow keys to highlight "Broadband Network Connection," then change the feature to "On."
