You can learn how to set up location sharing on the internet and send your location to someone.If you want your contact to see your location, you will need a map on their phone.
Step 1: You can open the Maps on your phone.
The Maps icon has a red location pin on it.You can find it on the menu.
Step 2: The button is on the top- left.
The search bar is located in the upper- left corner of the screen.You will be able to open your menu panel.
Step 3: On the menu, tap location sharing.
You will be asked to set up your location sharing preferences.
Step 4: You can share your live location with a duration.
Your contact will be able to see your live location for the entire period of time you indicate here.To increase or decrease the sharing duration, tap the buttons.You can start sharing your location without a time constraint.You can turn it off whenever you want.
Step 5: You can share your location link with an app.
You can share a link to your location with any of your contacts by tapping an app here.You will be switched to the selected app when you tap an app here.
Step 6: To share your location, select a contact.
To select your contact, tap the name on your list.
Step 7: You can send it with the Send button.
Your location will be sent to your contact on the selected app.When your contact opens your link, they'll be taken to the Maps app.You can see your live location on the map.
