How To Share Your Live Location on Facebook Messenger on Android
You can learn how to send your current location to a Facebook Messenger contact when you use an Android device.
Step 1: You can open Facebook Messenger.
The blue chat bubble icon has a white lightning bolt inside.You can usually find it on the home screen.
Step 2: You can choose a contact.
A conversation with that person will appear when you tap the name of the contact with whom you want to share your location.If you don't see the person you're looking for, start typing their name into the search bar at the top of the screen.
Step 3: You can tap +.
There is a blue circle at the bottom- left corner of the screen.
Step 4: You can tap on the location.
There is a blue icon with a white arrow.The map opens to your current location.Follow the on-screen instructions if you are prompted to enable location services.
Step 5: The send button is on the screen.
It appears to be a blue paper airplane.Your current location will be shown in the conversation.If you don't see a paper airplane icon, you may have to tap "share live location."
