Sometimes you need a day to yourself after school.A day of relaxing free time is all you need to get out of your classes. You can make your absence believable by skipping school.
Step 1: Set the scene.
Tell your parents that you don't feel well a couple of days before you pretend to be sick.If you tell your parents that you've eaten bad at school, they'll be more willing to believe you.Say that your throat feels a little sore and you want to fake a cold. When you wake up the night before, tell your parents that you are sick.Say, "I feel like I'm getting sick" or mimic your symptoms from before.
Step 2: It's time to wake up "sick".
It's a good idea to get up a little later.Tell your parents that you are not feeling well.Don't fix your messy, sleepyhead hair and walk slowly, like your muscles are achy.Don't eat a lot of breakfast. The illusion will be helped by the fact that sick people lose their appetites. If you are faking cold/flu symptoms, you should cough and sneeze.Rub your stomach and moan that it hurts.
Step 3: Fake a cold.
If you have a high temperature, your parents will want to check it out.You need to convince them that you have a temperature.Put a towel against your forehead after soaking it in hot water. This will make your illness more believable.Pour the water from the kettle into the bowl.Lean over the bowl and then step away. This will make you clammy. When it reaches 99–101 F (37–38C), rub it between your hands. If you go higher, you could end up in the hospital.
Step 4: Give in when you put on a brave face.
Don't say yes to your parents immediately. You have to act like missing school is hard. This will make it seem like you don't want to go to school.Say something like, "But I want to go to PE" for a minute or two.I'm not sure I can make it all day at school. If you make it seem like you don't want to go because you hate school, your illness will not seem believable.
Step 5: Make it believable by keeping up the act.
Pretend that you are feeling better throughout the day if you act sick all morning. You should act like you are strong enough to go to school the next day.You will have to pretend to be sick all day long even though you have a day off.If you suddenly get better the next day, your parents may be angry. They may not fall for it again.
Step 6: Know the risks.
Many schools have monitors, cameras, security guards, janitors and teachers who watch for people to leave. If you decide to skip school, you may have to take a lot of risks. If you get caught, be prepared by reading your school's rules before bunking off.
Step 7: School should be left at the right time.
When you are least likely to be noticed, you need to slip away. It's best done when there are lots of people around.Leaving at the very beginning of the day will get you noticed, since most kids are going into the school and not away from it.You should go to your first class so that you can be seen. It's possible to do this between lunchtime and afternoon classes.
Step 8: You should keep an eye on the time.
You don't want to let your teachers and parents know that you're late. When you are out and about, check the time every so often to see how much time you have left.If you have changed out of your school clothes, you should be back at school by the time the bell rings. If you show up on time, your parents will pick you up.It will make you feel like you were at school all day.Say that you have been in the bathroom sick or at an appointment if someone sees you.Make sure your parents know that you weren't in class.
Step 9: Don't finish your homework.
If you don't finish an important assignment in the morning, act panicked, pretend to cry, and try to finish it.If your parents see you so upset, they might pity you and let you stay at home to finish your homework. This will not work with every parent. Some parents want to teach their children a valuable lesson about finishing their work on time.
Step 10: Miss your bus.
If your parents expect you to get to the bus stop on your own, you will get a day off.Walk slowly to the bus stop.Run behind the bus and be sad that you missed it.You can hide so that you don't get caught by your parents, or you can tell them you missed the bus.If your parents are strict, you may want to wait until they leave for work before going to school.Know your risks.Your neighbours may tell your parents that you missed the bus.
Step 11: Change the alarm for your parents while they sleep.
It can be moved as far ahead as 1 or 2 hours, or as little as 30 minutes.Your parents probably won't have time to take you to school when the alarm goes off.If the alarm is supposed to go off at 6am, change it to 7 or 8am.You only have to change one alarm if one parent sets it.If there are multiple alarms, you will have to change them all.Do it at your own risk.Be respectful of your parent's work. They could get in trouble if you make them late.
Step 12: You can fake a note from your parents.
If you have skipped a day at school, your school will want to know where you are.To explain why you were absent, write a fake note from your parents. You can choose any excuse that sounds real, like you had to go to a funeral, or that your pet died.Write the note by hand, but type it.Your handwriting doesn't look like an adult's, so it will be hard to convince a teacher. The note will look more official if it is typed.
Step 13: Talk to your teachers about your fake missed day.
What happened when you were out of school, who you saw, how you felt are things to remember. You can use those details to have a conversation with your friends. It was sad to see so many crying people at a funeral, and it was also annoying to wait at the dentist's office before seeing a dentist.
Step 14: If you missed work, ask to make up for it.
Most teachers know that kids skip school to get out of doing work, so they won't guess if you ask for a catch up work the next day.You will appear to be a responsible student because of this. You should act like you want to do the work even if you don't.
