It's understandable that teens and adolescents like to get some gaming time in.There are some things you can do to get away from playing video games at night while your parents are asleep.
Step 1: Make your move at a decent time at night.
When you are ready, sit on your bed and slowly slide yourself down until you find yourself standing on the floor.
Step 2: To open your bedroom door, slowly and steadily walk to it.
This will allow little to no creaking.
Step 3: If your parent's door is large enough to fit one eye, open it.
Light breathing: Light sleep or normal sleep Snoring: Deep sleep
Step 4: If you want to reduce noise and creaking, make your way to the stairs and skip as many steps as possible.
The middle of each stair step will have less structural support and will increase the chance of stair movement which will result in creaking.
Step 5: If you hear too much creaking at the bottom floor of your house, stay close to the walls.
Step 6: When you get to the room with the gaming system, keep the door a quarter of the way open.
Reducing the amount of TV light that leaves the room will help you hear any outside noise.
Step 7: It's important to have a seat on a chair that is sturdy and non-swallowing.
We want to reduce noise from entering the parent/guardian's room.
Step 8: It would be better to turn on the console by the controller than it is to use the "On" button.
Doing so won't make a start-up sound.
Step 9: When your gaming system is on, turn the TV volume off or to the lowest setting.
You will be able to hear game audio and have one ear out if you use headphones.
Step 10: If everything is to your liking, have fun.
The more stress you add, the less fun you will have.
Step 11: When ready to crash, repeat steps four and five.
Step 12: Check your parent's room to make sure they haven't heard anything or seen anything suspicious.
Step 13: Go back to your bedroom and make sure everything is the same as it was the last time you were there.
To have a good night's rest, slowly sit and lay on your bed.
