For easy reference, you can learn how to star a chat channel in a workspace and make it to the top of your channels list.
Step 1: You can open Slack on your phone.
The app looks like a circle on the menu.You can log in to the workspace you want if you tap the blue button in the lower- left corner.
Step 2: The workspace has an icon.
The initials of your workspace's name can be seen on the button.On the left-hand side, it will open your navigation menu.
Step 3: Go to the channel you want to star on.
tap a channel to find the channels heading on the navigation menu.This will open the conversation.You can switch to a different workspace by tapping the squares icon in the upper-right corner of the menu.
Step 4: At the top of the conversation, tap the channel's name.
The workspace name is at the top of the conversation.The Channel details page will be opened.
Step 5: The icon is on the right.
There is a button in the upper-right corner.You can star this channel and add it to the top of your channels list by tapping this icon.You can un-star a channel if you tap this icon again.
