You can learn how to stop a file download in your Notification Center or cancel an app download from the Play Store.
Step 1: You can open your mobile internet browser.
You can use any mobile browser that is available on the internet.
Step 2: You can find the file you want to download on your phone.
It could be anything from a document to a file.
Step 3: Start the download.
You can either tap the download button on a web page or hold the link and select on the pop-up menu.You will see a download icon on the status bar.
Step 4: Down from the top of the screen.
The Notification Center can be opened in a drop-down panel.The download will be at the top of your notifications.
Step 5: The Pause button is pressed.
Below the name of the file, there is a button.When you decide to resume, it will stop your download.You can resume the download whenever you please.
Step 6: The Cancel button should be pressed.
There is a button next to the Pause button.It will stop when you download your file.Notification Center will no longer display the download box.
Step 7: Go to the Play Store on your phone.
The Play Store icon appears to be a colored arrowhead.
Step 8: You can find the app by tapping it.
You can use the search bar at the top to find an app.You can open the app page with a tap.
Step 9: The button is green.
There is a button in the upper-right corner of the app page.You will be able to download this app on your phone.
Step 10: The "X" is an icon.
When you download an app, the "X" icon will replace the INSTALL button.You can stop and cancel the app download with this icon.You can't resume the download when you cancel it.You will have to start again from the beginning.
