How To Test Packet Loss on Android
The HPE Network Capture Express app can be used to check for packet loss from a phone or tablet.
Step 1: The play store has the HPE Network Capture Express.
There is an app that tests for packet loss.
Step 2: The NC Express is open.
You can find the green icon in the app drawer.
Step 3: tap I agree if you review the terms.
The first time you launch the app, you will have to do this.
Step 4: You can enter or select a destination.
The host name is what you are trying to connect to.The address will be pinged to check for lost packets.
Step 5: Go to start.
The large green button is at the center of the screen.You will be asked if you want the app to use your location.
Step 6: Allow.
The results of the tests will be reported by the app.
Step 7: Under packet loss, you can find the percentage of lost packets.
The bottom of the report is where it is.
