How To The command prompt can be used to create a wireless hot spot.
The Command Prompt application can be used to broadcast your Windows computer's internet as a wireless hotspot.You need an administrator account on your computer to do this.
Step 1: The start can be open.
It is in the bottom left corner of the screen.The Win key can be used to open Start.You can click the magnifying glass icon on Windows 8 if you place your mouse in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Command prompt can be typed into Start.
The Command Prompt icon will be brought up if you do that.
Step 3: Command Prompt can be right-clicked.
It is at the top of the page.If you're using a laptop with no mouse buttons, you can use the trackpad with two fingers.
Step 4: Click Run if you want to be an administrator.
This option can be found in the right-click menu.If you do not have the option, you can't create a hotspot.
Step 5: When prompted, click yes.
Command Prompt will open if you do so.
Step 6: To enter, type NETSH WLAN show drivers.
You can confirm that your computer can create a hotspot with this command.
Step 7: "Yes" is next to "Hosted network supported".
If you see "Yes", your computer supports the hosted network feature, which allows you to create a wi-fi hotspot.If you do not see "Yes" here, your computer can't create a wireless hotspot.
Step 8: Command Prompt will prompt you to type the following code.
Netsh wlan says to set hostednetwork mode and then press enter.You need to replace the "NETWORKNAME" and "PASSWORD"
Step 9: To enter, type NETSH WLAN start hostednetwork.
This will turn on you.
Step 10: There is an exit command prompt.
Sharing its availability is necessary in order to connect to it.
Step 11: Go to the control panel and type.
Search your computer for the Control Panel app.

Step 21: Click on the name of your device.
"Local Area Connection * #" is what it will be.
Step 22: Click OK if you don't want to.
Any nearby devices should now be able to access your wireless hotspot.
