You can learn how to add a tip for your DoorDash driver when placing an order on your phone.
Step 1: On your phone, open DoorDash.
The app can be found on the home screen or in the drawer.There is a white icon with a red line inside.
Step 2: You can search for a restaurant.
If you want to browse by cuisine, tap one of the options on the top screen, and then tap a restaurant.To find a restaurant, tap the magnifying glass at the top-right corner of the screen, then enter your search terms.
Step 3: There are items in the cart.
To see what's inside, tap an item category and then look at its details.To place an order, tap at the bottom of the screen.If you want to add chicken to your order, you have the option to do so before you add it to the cart.
Step 4: When you're ready to check out, tap the cart icon.
There is a red circle at the bottom of the screen.You can see a list of items in your order.
Step 5: You can make any final edits to the cart.
You can add or remove item customizations by tapping the item.To remove items from the cart, tap the button at the top-right corner of the screen, select items to remove, and then tap.If you have a promo code, you can enter it now.
Step 6: Checkout can be done by tapping.
It is at the bottom of the screen.
Step 7: You need to complete your order.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your order after you verify the total and address.
Step 8: You can choose a payment method.
Choose one of the options you've added.To add a new card, tap at the top-right corner of the screen, enter the card details, then tap.
Step 9: Pick the tip amount.
The driver will get 100% of the tip.There are several ways to leave a tip under the ”Dasher Tip” heading.If you want to tip that amount, you can leave that option selected.To switch to a different amount, tap another one of the suggested amounts.If you want to enter a custom tip amount, tap, enter your desired amount in dollars, and then tap.
Step 10: You can review the total and place order at the same time.
Once you add a tip, the order total changes.The total amount of the order will be charged when you use your default payment method.
