You can find out how to track a train in the mobile app of the search engine.For this to work, you need the latest and most up to date Google Maps mobile app, internet connection that can send and receive information, and a GOOGLE account.
Step 1: You can open the maps on the internet.
The app icon looks like a green, blue, yellow, and red map pin that can be found on one of your Home screens, in your app drawer, or by searching.If you're on a long train ride, you won't be able to see the general outline of the train's navigation and location.
Step 2: The destination train station can be entered in the search bar.
The top of your screen is where you should see this.If you don't know where the train station is, you can find it by searching the location and seeing the station in the results.As you type "Philly train station", you will see a list of results for train stations in Philadelphia.T.
Step 3: You can select it as your destination by tapping a result.
You can see it on the map.
Step 4: The button is blue.
Next to the share icon you'll see this at the bottom of your screen.
Step 5: The transit icon looks like a train.
It's between the car and walking icons on the screen.
Step 6: If prompted, tap a starting point.
You can skip this step if you aren't prompted to pick a starting location.
Step 7: There are options to tap.
There is blue text on the right side of the screen.
Step 8: To select a train, tap.
The results will show only the train routes.
Step 9: You have to tap Done.
The transit options window has a blue button at the bottom.
Step 10: The route has a train icon.
This will let us know more about the train and route.You can see when the train will arrive at the source and destination train stations.
Step 11: If it's a longer ride, tap the train name.
You can see where the train is currently located, but only on long train rides.
