How To Turn Off Activity Recommendations on YouTube Music on Android
You can turn off the notifications for new activity in the YouTube Music app.
Step 1: You can open the music on your phone.
The red circle has a white triangle inside.You can usually find it on the home screen or the app drawer.
Step 2: Go to your profile picture.
It is at the top-right corner of the app.
Step 3: Go to settings.
It is the option with a gear icon.
Step 4: Privacy and location can be tapped.
It's in the middle of the menu.
Step 5: The "Pause activity-based recommendations" switch is on.
If this switch is on, you won't be recommended music or videos based on what you've watched or listened to.You might have to scroll down to find this option.If you still want activity-based recommendations but don't want to be notified when they are updated, tap the back button to return to settings, then slide the "Recommendation notifications" switch to the off position.
