You can learn how to use AirPlay on your Apple device to stream audio and video.You can use AirPlay to broadcast your Apple item's screen to an Apple TV and play audio through compatible speakers.
Step 1: You can connect to the same wi-fi network with the AirPlay item.
You need to connect your phone to the wi-fi network that your item is connected to.
Step 2: You can turn on the item you want to use.
If you want to use AirPlay to stream audio to speakers, turn them on.

Step 4: You can open the control center.

Step 5: You can mirror the screen with a tap.
skip this step if you want to use audio only.Wait until you see the item you want, then select it from the list to use AirPlay.
Step 6: To stream audio, hold the Audio tile in Control Center.
If you want to use AirPlay to play music, you need to tap and hold the tile at the top-right corner of the Control Center and then select the speaker or speakers.
Step 7: You can connect your Mac to the same network as your speakers.
Your Mac needs to be on the same wi-fi network as the item you want to connect to.
Step 8: You can turn on the item you want to use.
Turn on the speakers if you want to use AirPlay to stream audio.
Step 9: You can mirror your screen with the screen-mirroring icon.
If you mirror your Mac's screen, you can project anything on it to an AirPlay-enabled TV.It's a good idea to make sure this option is available to you when you need it, even if you don't want to do this right now.If you see an icon in the menu bar near the top-right corner of your screen that looks like a triangle, you can mirror it and proceed to step 4.Click the Apple menu if you don't think so.Click if you want to.You can show the options in the menu bar.
Step 10: If you want to use AirPlay, open the video or song.
If you want to use AirPlay to play a movie from a streaming service, open that service's app or website and select the video.You can skip this step if you just want to mirror the screen.Apple Music has a built-in button that allows you to use AirPlay from within the app.Click the triangle icon with three curved lines near the top-right corner to open a list of AirPlay-enabled speakers and then click the speakers to start streaming.If you're watching a streaming video in a web browser, you can click on an icon that looks like a triangle at the bottom of the screen to play it through AirPlay.You can either hover your mouse over the video or click to bring up the controls to find it.
Step 11: To mirror your screen, click the icon.
You added a new icon to the Menu bar.Pick the item you want to start mirroring when you see it in the list.Click the icon again if you want to stop mirroring.
Step 12: It's possible to play audio through speakers.
Click the Apple icon and select "Use a separate AirPlay speaker to play music or other sounds through your Mac"Click.Under "Output" you can select your speaker.Select "Computer" to switch back to your Mac's onboard speakers.
Step 13: You can open your Apple TV's settings.

Step 14: To use AirPlay, you must select it.
