How To Unblock Facebook at School

When you're in school, you need to pay attention to your teacher and not use social media.There are a few ways to get around school network restrictions if you can't wait to check Facebook.These methods won't work if the school's security is good.

Step 1: You should open a browser.

It is possible that you will need to sign into the browser with your student credentials.

Step 2: Go to your browser's address bar and type m. Facebook.com.

The address is for the mobile site of Facebook.

Step 3: Press Enter.

This will take you to the Facebook mobile site if your school's network is blocked.The mobile site looks different than the regular desktop site, but it functions the same.

Step 4: You should open a browser.

This is your computer's default browser.If your current browser blocks Facebook, you can use a different browser.You can put a browser on a flash drive if you can't download it from your current computer.

Step 5: Go to the download page in your browser.

Step 6: Click the button if you want to download it.

The button is located near the top or middle of the browser's page.The browser's setup file will begin to download when you do that.You may have to click or confirm your choice in order to download.

Step 7: Click the setup file.

If you choose one, it will be in your computer's default download location.

Step 8: You need to install the browser.

Go to the on-screen prompt.It's a good idea to opt out of any free programs included in the install.The "Applications" folder shortcut is where the browser's icon should be.

Step 9: You can open your browser.

Click the browser's icon to double-click.

Step 10: You can go to Facebook.

Go to Facebook in your new browser.You should be able to access Facebook if your computer's restrictions were only set in the default browser.

You can use this to find the Terminal app on your computer.

Step 19: Click on the terminal.

The top search result should be it.The terminal opens.

Step 20: If you want to enter, type ping Facebook.com into the terminal.

Step 21: Look at the number to the right.

The address is for Facebook.

Step 22: You should open a browser.

Step 23: Press Return if you want to type the address into the browser's address bar.

This will take you to Facebook's page if the URL is blocked but the address isn't.

Step 24: Attach your computer to your phone.

Use the cable that came with your phone.If using your phone's battery isn't an option, you can try using the internet instead.

Step 25: You can open your settings on your phone.

The app is grey and has gears on it.You'll find it on the Home Screen.

Step 26: You can tap Personal Hotspot.

There is an option at the top of the page.Some service providers don't include a Personal Hotspot.If you do not see this option, your phone doesn't have a hotspot available.

Step 27: Right to "On" is where the Personal Hotspot should be.

Your computer will use your phone's data as an Internet connection after a second or two.

Step 28: You can open a web browser.

You can do this on your computer.

Step 29: Press enter to type into your browser's address bar.

You should go to Facebook's home page.This method won't work for connecting to Facebook if it's blocked on your computer.

Step 30: Attach your phone to your computer.

You can use your cable to do that.If using your phone's battery isn't an option, you can try using the internet instead.

Step 31: You can open your settings on your phone.

You can find it in the app drawer.

Step 32: It's time to tap more.

Underneath the "Wireless & networks" heading is this option.You can tap on a device.

Step 33: It's possible to tap tethering and portable hotspot.

It is near the top of the page.On a phone.

Step 34: Right to "ON" is where the tethering should be.

Your computer will begin using your data as an internet connection after this.You can check the box on some phones.

Step 35: You can open a browser.

You can do this on your computer.

Step 36: Press enter if you type into your browser's address bar.

This will take you to Facebook's home page.This method won't work if Facebook is blocked on your computer.

Step 37: You can open a browser.

It is possible that you will have to enter your student credentials.

Step 38: You can search for online proxies.

Go to your browser's search bar and type in free online proxies.The following are some proxy services.

Step 39: Go to the proxy site's search bar and type in Facebook.

There is a search bar in the middle of the proxy site's page.

Step 40: You can find it by clicking the "Search" button.

The button will usually be below the search field.The proxy will cause the Facebook search to avoid your school's network.

Step 41: Make sure you have a PureVPN account.

Unlike using a proxy site, virtual private networks require you to set up an account in order to access a server's name and address.You will need the name and address of the PureVPN to connect to it.If you want to use your service for longer than a week, you'll have to pay.

Step 42: The start can be open.

The Windows logo can be found in the bottom- left corner of the screen.

Step 43: Click on the settings.

It's on the left side of the Start window.

Step 44: Click on the network and internet.

There is an option in the top row of settings.

Step 45: Click to use a PureVPN.

There is a tab on the left side of the window.

Step 46: Click to add a connection.

There is an option at the top of the page.

Step 47: You can choose a PureVPN provider.

Click the box below theVPN provider heading at the top of the page.

Step 48: You can enter your information.

You can type a name for your PureVPN connection into the field.This is where you'll enter your address.Click the box below to select your connection type.When you sign up for a PureVPN, you should receive this information along with the address.This section can vary depending on your PureVPN.You will usually enter your password here.

Step 49: Click it to save.

Doing so will save your connection as a network on your PC.

Step 50: Click on your PureVPN's name.

It should be in the settings window.

Step 51: You can click to connect.

There is an option at the bottom of the name card.

Step 52: If prompted, enter your password and usernames.

If you didn't choose the option to save your login credentials, you'll need to log into your service and connect to the internet.

Step 53: You can go to the website in your browser.

You have to log in to Facebook.If you have a PureVPN, you should be able to use Facebook.

Step 54: Make sure you have a PureVPN account.

Step 55: You can open the menu at Apple.

Step 61: Please enter a name for your PureVPN.

Whatever you want to call the network, this can be it.

Step 62: Click to create.

There is a blue button in the bottom right corner of the window.

Step 63: Your PureVPN should be configured.

Make sure the box says "Default"This is where you can type in your address.Here is where you can type in your subscription's name.

Step 64: Click on the settings.

There is an Account Name text field.

Step 65: You can type in User Authentication information.

You can type the answer in if you check the box to the left of the User Authentication option.

Step 66: You can type in the information.

The bottom of the window has this section near it.If you want to use the "Shared Secret" option, you have to check this box.

Step 67: Click OK.

It's at the bottom of the window.

Step 68: Click advanced.

It's at the bottom of the window.

Step 69: Click OK if you want to send all traffic over a PureVPN connection.

This makes sure that all the sites you visit use the VPN connection.

Step 70: Click Apply.

This creates your network.

Step 71: You can click to connect.

It is below the option.It will prompt your Mac to connect to the internet.

Step 72: You can go to Facebook in your browser.

Go to Facebook and log in.You should be able to use Facebook if you have a PureVPN.
