You can learn how to remove the Mail component from your Windows PC.
Step 1: You can open the Start menu.
Click the Windows logo in the bottom- left corner of the screen or press the Win key to do it.The button is in the bottom- left corner of the screen.
Step 2: Click the control panel.
There is an option on the right side of the Start window.You can type control panel into the search bar at the bottom of the Start window if you don't see it here.
Step 3: You can uninstall a program.
This link looks like a CD in front of a box in the main Control Panel window.You may have to double-click the icon on Windows Vista.You can double-click on Windows 7.
Step 4: You can find the "Windows Live Essentials" program.
There is a list of programs in the middle of this window.Clicking above the top program's name will load the programs in alphabetical order.
Step 5: Click on Windows Live.
It will be selected by doing so.
Step 6: Click to uninstall.
There is a button above the programs.Clicking it will open a window.This option is simply titled.
Step 7: You can remove one or more Windows Live programs.
The top option is in the pop-up window.
Step 8: Click on the "Mail" option.
The Mail icon has a box to the left.If you want to uninstall other items, you can check them.
Step 9: Click to uninstall it.
There is a window at the bottom.You can remove the Windows Live Mail program from your computer.The process should take a few moments.You have to approve this action by clicking on it.
