It feels great to find a pair of jeans that fit just right, but it's not so great when they shrink in the dryer.Shrinkage in jeans can be reversed.Make sure you wash and dry the jeans according to the instructions.Wear your jeans in a bath filled with warm water to unshrink them, or spray them down and soak them in baby wash.
Step 1: Put water in a spray bottle.
Make sure the spray bottle is free of leftover chemicals.Bring it up with water that islukewarm. If you don't have a spray bottle, you can put a small amount of water on your jeans while stretching them out.
Step 2: Place the jeans on the floor.
The jeans have to be completely flat on the floor.Use your hands to smooth the fabric. You can easily work on one section at a time if you separate the legs of the jeans.
Step 3: Pull on the jeans.
Every part that needs to be stretched should be sprayed with water.Pull and stretch that portion of jeans once it is damp.Continue until you have stretched out all of the jeans.
Step 4: Let the jeans dry.
If you don't want to move the jeans, you can leave them laying out flat. You could hang them up to dry.Make sure your jeans are stretched out enough by putting them on after they have dried.Try another method if you don't like it.
Step 5: There is a bucket of water.
Any type of baby wash will work.Put the capful into the bucket with the water.Run your hands through the water to mix the baby wash.
Step 6: You can work through the jeans with your hands.
The jeans should be put in the water for a few minutes. Then, use your hands to wash the baby. The fibers of your jeans can be loosened by doing this.
Step 7: The excess water needs to be squeezed out.
Use your hands to squeeze out the excess water after you have washed the baby. You just need to squeeze.Don't wash the jeans.
Step 8: Put the jeans in a towel.
Use a clean, dry towel that has been washed before so that the fibers of the towel don't rub off on the jeans.Place the jeans on top of the towel. The jeans are inside the towel.Press the towel on the jeans to absorb the excess water.
Step 9: Pull on the jeans.
Another clean, dry towel is what you should get.The jeans should be on top of the towel. At this point, they should still be wet.Pull on the jeans to stretch them out.Work on every part of the jeans until they are stretched.
Step 10: The jeans should be allowed to air dry.
The jeans should be left on the towel where they were stretched out.Keep the jeans dry by putting them on a towel.Try them on to see if they have been stretched out enough. The drying process can be sped up if you put a fan in front of the towel.
Step 11: Put on the jeans.
If the jeans have not shrunk so much that you can not put them on, this method will work.If you can put them on, leave them unbuttoned. It's okay if you can't pull the jeans up.
Step 12: The bath should be filled with warm water.
The water should be cold. The threading will be loosened by the water. If you fill it up, your jeans will be submerged in the water.
Step 13: While wearing jeans, sit down in the tub.
You can either soak in the tub for 30 minutes or sit in it for an hour. You can use your hands to pull on the fabric while you soak.
Step 14: To dry the jeans, hang them up.
You can pat off the excess water by getting out of the tub and using a towel.Hang your jeans up to dry.Once they have dried, try them on to make sure they fit.
