How To Update Your Page Reading Status on Goodreads
Are you trying to tell your friends about the book you're reading?You can keep your friends up-to-date on your book-reading progress with Goodreads.This article can show you how to do that.
Step 1: Go to the Goodreads website.
Step 2: From the "to-read" shelf to the currently-reading shelf are where the books should be placed.
The currently-reading shelf is the only shelf that is set up to receive updates.
Step 3: The news feed should be shown to you at your personal Goodreads page.
Step 4: You can see the right-hand side of the page.
The section labeled " currently-reading" contains the books you have on your shelf.Is it possible to see it?There is no scrolling yet.
Step 5: If you want to change the reading status of the book, locate it.
Step 6: Clicking on the "update status" link will take you to the right of the book you want to update.
Step 7: Click into the box to the right of the labeled-text "I'm on page" and type the page number at which you're now positioned at.
Step 8: There is a box below which you can type a message explaining your thoughts about the book.
You can use this box for things that have to do with your reading status.
Step 9: You can save progress by clicking the "save progress" button.
Step 10: They should be marked as complete.
The button to mark the book as complete is located to the right of the "Save progress" button.Updating the progress of the book past the last numbered page from the profile on this box won't show a book as complete.You have to click the link to complete it.If you would like, it will ask you if you want to rate or review the book, or one of the many other things you can do with the site.
Step 11: The "My Books" link can be found at the top of the website.
Step 12: There is a " currently-reading" shelf.
Step 13: You can update the status of the book by clicking on the profile page.
Step 14: You can scroll down until you see a section labeled "Progress" under the section heading "My Review".
Step 15: You can click on the box to the right of the text "I'm on page".
Step 16: The page number is the number of pages in the book.
Step 17: The box initially labeled " Add a quote, comment or note" is where you can type a comment message explaining your thoughts about the book.
