You can send and receive messages from your friends in a web client with the web version ofAndroid Messages.You can learn how to use the web version ofAndroid Messages.You will need a one-time setup process from your mobile device, and then you will be able to use Android Messages for Web in your computer browser.
Step 1: Make sure you have the latest version of the app on your phone.
The original "Android Messages" app can be installed or updated.You can download it from the Play Store.This feature can't be used on other messaging apps.
Step 2: You can use the app on your phone.
The blue icon is usually found on the home screen or in the app drawer.
Step 3: There are more options on the menu.
The three dots icon is located at the top-right corner of the app.
Step 4: From the options, select Messages for web.
The third option will be in the menu.
Step 5: You can open messages in your browser.
The Remember this computer button can be used to sign in to Messages for web in the future.Internet Explorer doesn't show Android Messages on the web.You need to use a variety of browsers.
Step 6: There is a SCAN button on your app.
The scanning device will open after it's opened.
Step 7: Scan the code with your phone.
Hold your phone up to the web page until the scanning is complete.The website will be reloaded.Your phone will vibrate when you are done.That means you're in!
Step 8: You can select a contact from the left panel.
Along with the contacts, you can see your chat history.You can expand the conversation by clicking on it.
Step 9: Send replies and read messages.
The text message box at the bottom of the page is where you can send replies and new messages.Hit the button to send a message.You can see the number of unread messages in the browser tab with a red notification.
Step 10: You can click on the New Conversation button.
You can see it on the left side of the page.
Step 11: Write down your recipient's name.
Multiple phone numbers or emails can be used here.Select your contacts if you want to start a group conversation.
Step 12: Send a message.
Click on the text message box at the bottom of the page to send a message.
Step 13: You can add more features to your message.
Attachments like pictures and videos can be added to your message.There is a feature at the end of the text message box.
Step 14: Send your message.
You can share your messages with your friends by clicking on the paper plane icon.
Step 15: You can click on the More options.
There is a three dots menu on the left side of the page.
Step 16: From the menu, select Archived.
You can open a dialog box with your messages.You can archive your messages here.
Step 17: Click on the symbol.
It's on the left side of the page.
Step 18: From the context menu, select settings.
There is a dialog box on your screen.
Step 19: Notifications should be turned off.
The blue switch should be turned off if you want to stop the notifications.
Step 20: The dark theme should be enabled to prevent eyestrain.
The switch is near the grey one.
Step 21: Allow high contrast mode.
It's not possible to use the dark theme and high contrast mode at the same time.The dark theme should be disabled and the grey switch turned on.
Step 22: Right after the title, click on the three dots icon.
There are some options that will appear.
Step 23: From the menu, select "sign out".
This will open the confirmation box.
Step 24: From the dialog box, click on "SIGN OUT"
The current page will be taken to the login page when you're done.You can use your mobile phone to log out of Messages for web.
Step 25: You can launch the app on your phone.
The three dots menu can be found at the top-right corner of the app.
Step 26: From the context menu, select the Messages for web option.
Step 27: You need to sign out of your computer.
Next to the computer, tap the symbol.tap on the option if you're signed in to multiple computers
Step 28: You must confirm your action.
