The Photo Booth application on your Mac allows you to take a single picture, a sequence of pictures, or a video and then apply fun effects to them.
Step 1: Attach a camera to your Mac.
If your Mac doesn't have a built-inWebcam, you can install your own if you want a higher-quality camera.As long as they're Mac compatible, most webcams simply need to be plugged in.
Step 2: The photo booth is open.
Click the Go menu from the desktop to quickly open Photo Booth.There is a photo booth in the applications folder.Click the search button in your menu bar and type in the photo booth you want to return.
Step 3: You can click on the camera menu.
Pick the one you want to use with Photo Booth if you have multiple cameras installed.
Step 4: Click the camera you want to use.
You can see a list of connected cameras.The photo from the camera should be visible in the Photo Booth window.
Step 5: Take a photo in the photo booth.
You can see the image from your camera in the Photo Booth window.If your shot is lined up correctly, move yourself or your webcam.
Step 6: You can click the single picture button.
You can find it in the bottom- left corner of the photo booth window.
Step 7: You can click the camera button.
The clock will start at the bottom of the screen.
Step 8: Take a picture.
The screen will flash and your picture will be taken when the clock strikes midnight.
Step 9: The button has four pictures on it.
The Photo Booth window is in the lower left corner.The button looks like a grid.
Step 10: Line up your shot.
You will be taking four pictures in a row, with a few seconds to change poses.The photo booth window has a camera lined up in it.
Step 11: You can click the camera button.
There is a window.
Step 12: Wait for the clock to strike a pose.
You can see the number at the bottom of the screen.
Step 13: Change poses when taking a picture.
You can see the screen flash when a picture is taken.Four pictures will be taken.
Step 14: The effects button is on the screen.
You can either apply effects to the picture you just took or choose an effect before taking a picture.
Step 15: You can see more options by clicking on the buttons.
You can see them at the bottom of the screen.Clicking these buttons will change the pages.
Step 16: Click on the effect you want to apply.
You can see a preview of each effect in the menu.
Step 17: If possible, click and drag to adjust the effect.
The effect you choose can be adjusted.The strength of the effect can be changed.
Step 18: The list of effects has a background.
There are silhouettes on the background at the end of the list.You can apply special effects to your body.
Step 19: Don't stay in the frame.
The background needs to be detected so that the photo booth can properly apply the effect.The frame needs to be completely removed for it to work.Make sure you don't have anything moving in your background.If nothing is moving, this will work well, but only if there is a solid background.
Step 20: Once the background has been detected, return to the frame.
The effect you chose has been applied to your body.
Step 21: To save a photo, drag it from the timeline.
You'll see a thumbnail at the bottom of the window after taking a photo or video.You can save it by dragging it to your desktop or open folder.
Step 22: Click Share if you want to share a photo.
The Share button has an arrow coming out of it.The Share menu will be opened by this.To share an item, click on it in the Share menu.You can use any third-party app that supports sharing to send it.
Step 23: You can export to save images.
If you want to change the format of an image, you can use the Export menu.Give the file a name and choose the format, then click Export.
Step 24: You can find your photo booth photos.
You can find your Photo booth photos in your Pictures library by clicking the Finder button.The Pictures folder has pictures in it.There is a package file for the Photo Booth Library.Click on the file to see the package contents.You can find your pictures by opening the Pictures folder in the Photo Booth Library.
