How To Use Tux Paint with Your Kids

The software looks really cool for your kids to use.You are not sure how to use it.This page should get you started.

Step 1: You can download the software from the website.

There is a pink bar with an arrow on the right side of the desktop.You can find more tool options when you look at that.Pick out the brush that you want and then paint.You can start coloring in the open area with whatever you want.The stamps contained in the add-in are of the highest quality.A child can be amused by the fact that you are painting with pictures with stamps.There are a lot of stamps that come with the add-in.You can make your own stamps out of photographs that you might have.Above the colors that look like a volume display is a function on the lower right of the desktop.That will affect the size of your stamps.The program will say the name of the stamp with some of it.The lines work by clicking on one end and then clicking again where you want them to end.Most of the tools allow you to change colors.There are eight different shapes to choose from.The filled in version of the shape has an outline.Text wherever you want.By clicking on the pink bar, you can see the different sizes and types of fonts.Try something new with them.One of the functions that provide fun is magic.There are 29 functions on this tool.The kaleidoscope is the most fun of all the things.You may have to kick the child out of the chair.Tux Paint's Magic can be used to grow flowers.You can save your file to the /Application Data/Tux Paint folder in Windows.If you want to have a picture printed out at any of the media developing places that you will find, you can either print to your computer, or put them on some type of portable media.Target, Walmart, Kmart, just to name a few.It's time to quit.
