If you want to get to where you need to be on time, you can order an ride up to 30 days in advance.If you want to use Scheduled Rides, you need to sign up for the service.The trip will be listed for you to review.You can use the regular services of the company to book a ride to work, but you will need to allow extra time for car availability.Scheduled rides are not available in all areas.
Step 1: The Scheduled Rides feature requires you to sign up.
Click on the link in your email to sign up.If you are in an area where Scheduled Rides are available, the option will appear in the app.This feature is currently in early access and may not be available in all areas.You can learn more about how to setup and use the ride hailing service.
Step 2: Go to the app and sign up.
At the splash screen, tap the sign in button and enter your email and password.If you don't have the app on your phone, you can download it from the App Store or Play Store.
Step 3: Go to the list of services.
There are different services listed at the bottom of the screen.There is a building on the left.Scheduled rides can only be used for one company.Integration with other services is still to come.
Step 4: You can schedule a ride.
The button appears above the services.The schedule new trip page is where you'll be taken.Scheduled rides may not be available in this area if the button doesn't appear.
Step 5: To schedule a future pickup, tap the Time/Date field.
You can choose a date up to 30 days in advance.
Step 6: Your location can be entered into the field.
Below the Time/Date field is the pickup field.You can schedule a ride by dropping the location pin and entering a destination address.
Step 7: Go to the destination field and enter your work address.
After the pickup location is set, the destination field appears below it.
Step 8: There is a tap on the screen that says "ScheduleUberX".
The Trips page is where you will be taken.You can find your ride in theUpcoming tab.When the ride is on its way, you will be sent a reminder on the day of the trip.There is no way to set up recurring trips because you can schedule multiple trips in advance.
Step 9: You can modify a trip.
To make changes to a trip's date and time, you need to tap the "Upcoming" tab on the Trips page.To confirm the new date/time, tap "OK" at the bottom.
Step 10: It is a good idea to cancel a trip.
The "Upcoming" tab on the Trips page has apencil icon on it.The details page has a tap on it.You can cancel a can trip at any time without paying a cancellation fee.
Step 11: Go to the app and sign in.

Step 12: You can choose your service.
There are different services listed at the bottom.You can see how long it will take for each service to pick you up by looking at the location pin.
Step 13: The pickup location search bar can be tapped.
You can find a search bar at the top of the screen to find the default addresses for Home and Work.
Step 14: The addresses are labeled in the fields.
Below the search bar are the fields.These addresses will be saved once entered.The values can be edited using the pencil icon to the right of the address.
Step 15: You can use the search bar to find your pickup and destination locations.
You can set your saved addresses with a single tap.
Step 16: You can request an automobile.
You can keep track of the car icon on the map and see where it is in real time.
