How To View Your Browser History on a Mac

If you want to learn how to view your browser history on a Mac, this is the place for you.

Step 1: Open the browser.

The app is located on the dock and resembles a blue compass.

Step 2: Click on the history you want to see.

There is a menu bar at the top of the screen.You can see just your browser history by hovering the mouse over a recent date.

Step 3: Click to show all history.

It's at the top of the menu.The browser history is organized by date.The history can be opened with the keyboard shortcut Command+Y.

Step 4: The date is left if you click.

The browser history can be expanded by clicking the triangular arrow to the left of the date.There is no browsing history for that day if a particular date is not listed.Clicking on the top-right of the page will clear the history.

Step 5: Open the browser.

The app has an icon that resembles a red, yellow, green, and blue ball.

Step 6: Click on the history you want to see.

The menu bar is at the top of the screen.A list of sites is displayed.

Step 7: Click here to view the full history.

It is at the bottom of the menu.You can open a list of your browser history.The history can be opened with the keyboard shortcut Command+Y.

Step 8: Click here to view your browser history.

You can go back further in time by scrolling through your history in chronological order.Click on the top left of the page to clear your history.

Step 9: Open the browser.

The app has an icon that looks like an orange fox around a blue ball.

Step 10: Click on the history you want to see.

The menu bar is at the top of the screen.This opens a menu.Your recent history can be found at the bottom of the "History" drop-down menu.

Step 11: Click to show all history.

The drop-down menu has it's first option.A list of your browser history can be found here.

Step 12: You can choose a time period.

Click on a day or month in the left column to view history.Click in the top menu bar to clear your history.
