Air fryers have become one of the most popular kitchen appliances in the last few years.It is no wonder that they are easy to use and less messy than traditional frying.The basket and pan must be washed every use to keep the air fryer in tip-top shape.You can show it some love by giving it a deep cleaning.
Step 1: After each use, wash the basket and pan.
Leftover oil and charred food can cause your air fryer to smoke when you use it again.These problems can be avoided if you clean these parts every time you use the appliance.The basket and pan are part of most air fryers.Both parts of the pan get dirty when you're cooking.It's a good idea to wipe out the basket with a paper towel if you air-fry something that doesn't leave a lot of oil.It's a good idea to wash both of your air fryer baskets.
Step 2: Let the fryer cool down for 30 minutes.

Step 5: The basket and pan should be dry before being put back in the fryer.
If you are not rushing, leave the parts to dry in a dish rack for several hours.If you want to dry them more quickly, you should wipe down the basket and pan with a dry cotton cloth or towel.If you put the parts back in the air fryer unit, they won't dry out.
Step 6: The parts should be soaked in soapy water for 10 minutes.
Put the basket in the pan and fill it with hot water to cover the dirty bits.Put a few drops of dish detergent into the water and let the parts soak for a while.Take the parts out and scrub them off with a soft sponge.A soft-bristled brush can be used to loosen stuck-on food bits.
Step 7: Food can be stuck in the basket holes with a skewer or toothpick.
Pick up a wooden skewer or toothpick from your kitchen sink.It is a good idea to poke out the hard-to-reach bits of food that don't come out of the holes when you wash the basket.Some skin and fat can get stuck in the basket when you cook chicken wings.
Step 8: Wait 30 minutes to kill odors if you Rub lemon juice on the basket and pan.
Put the lemon in the basket and pan and squeeze the juice out.The lemon should be rubbed over the inside surfaces.After half an hour or so, wash the basket and pan again.It works as a natural deodorizer because of the citric acid in lemons.
Step 9: To clean the inside of the fryer compartment, use a damp, soapy cloth.
Put a bit of dish detergent on a soft cloth like a microfiber cloth with warm water.The inside of the fryer compartment has soap on it.The pan and basket slide into the fryer compartment.You don't have to clean it after every use, but occasionally to get rid of grease splatter.You can wipe down the inside of the compartment with a kitchen wipe.
Step 10: To remove soap from the compartment, use a damp cloth.
Wet a fresh cloth and wring out the excess water.Remove soap suds from the inside of the air fryer unit.If you need to get the inside of the fryer clean and soap-free, rinse and wring the cloth.
Step 11: To clean the compartment, use a baking soda paste.
Pour some baking soda into a bowl or glass and stir in some water to make a paste.Use a soft-bristled brush to apply the paste.Use a damp cloth to wipe the paste off.The paste should be made with 3 parts baking soda and 1 part water.
Step 12: Remove the appliance and wipe the element with a damp sponge.
The air fryer unit must be turned upside down to hold it steady.Wet a soft sponge or microfiber cloth and wring out the excess water, then wipe off the heating element coil to get rid of grease and food splatters.The heating element is similar to the electric stove's heating elements.
