Extra lift, definition, shape, and coverage can be added to bra inserts. If you want a natural boost, some additional coverage, enhanced cleavage, or an added cup size, select a set of inserts. You will instantly notice the difference when you put them in your bra or bathing suit.
Step 1: If you want a boost, use half-size bra pads.
If you don't need a full cup size difference, go for bra pads that line the bottom of your bust. They offer a natural look. You can find them in small, medium, or large sizes. These are great for day-to-day bras.If you want more coverage, you can use these in sports bras. They aren't recommended for bathing suits. These come in either round or oblong shapes.
Step 2: If you have a smaller bust, use bust enhancer pads.
There are pads that are labeled asbust enhancer pads.If you want to make your bust look a little bigger, you can use a single pad or two.
Step 3: The inserts should be full-size and push-up.
Push-up pads can be used for sexy looks.Lift and definition are provided by these slide into your bra.You can buy push-up inserts based on your bra size.Push-up inserts are great with nightlife outfits. The inserts are triangular.
Step 4: Silicone inserts can be used for lift and bust enhancement.
Silicone inserts are squishy plastic pads that you add to the bottom of your bra for increased shape, lift, and cleavage.Your breasts can be lifted up and forward with their thick base. They come in 1 uniform size. It's possible to add up a cup size.Round or half-moon shaped Silicone inserts are available. They are usually transparent.
Step 5: There is a free option to use the padding from an old bathing suit.
You can use the ones you already own.The pads are secured by a small flap of fabric. Some sports bras have padding on them.Pull out the insert if you want to separate the fabric from the bra or bathing suit.It is possible to put it back in your swimsuit or bra later.
Step 6: Put your bra on.
Put your straps over your shoulders by fastening the band of your bra to a comfortable size. After your bra is on your body, you will put your inserts on it.
Step 7: The inserts should sit at the bottom of your bra.
Put an insert inside the cup of your bra. This should be done for the other cup.The bottom of your breast is where the thickest part of the insert should be.It should fit on top of the bottom band of your bra. There is an insert between your bra and skin.If you don't want your insert to shift around, try holding it in place with a double-stick fashion place. If you want, you can even sew them into place with a safety pin.
Step 8: If you need to adjust the insert, put on a shirt and check it.
After you get dressed, look in the mirror. If you need to adjust your inserts, look at the sides and shape of your breasts. If one side looks bigger than the other, adjust the inserts so that they sit under your bust. These should be in place all day.Just in case, you should double-check throughout the day.How great do you look?
Step 9: Find the opening of your bathing suit top.
The opening of most bathing suits begins along your bust line, usually at the outer corner of your top.Run your fingers along the bust line to find the opening in your bathing suit.
Step 10: If your top doesn't have an opening, cut a slit into it.
It is okay if your bathing suit does not have an opening.Cut a slit in the lining of your suit along your bust line with a pair of scissors. You should only cut the lining of your top, not the actual bathing suit. The corner closest to your underarm is where you can cut discreet holes. They should be on the bottom band of your bathing suit top.
Step 11: Put your insert in the opening of your bathing suit top.
You can squeeze the sides of the inserts and push them into the opening. The inserts are larger than the slit so they will stay in place. If you use full-size inserts, fold them in half and let them unfold into full shape when they are inside.
Step 12: If you want your inserts to lie flat in your top, adjust them as needed.
The insert should be flush with your bathing suit top if you use your fingers to slide it around. If you have full-size inserts, make sure the triangle shape is in line with the shape of your top. They should line the bottom of your bathing suit if they use half-size inserts.
Step 13: If you want, sew your inserts in place.
You can cut the hole with a sewing needle after you slip the inserts into the liner.Pull your needle through the lining at the edge of the slit. This is where you can make your stitches. If you cut a small hole, bring your needle back through the top. When you reach the end of your thread, tie a knot at the beginning of it.This is not required, but it will help keep your insert in your top. This applies to bathing suits that have openings and those that you cut yourself.
Step 14: After each use, wash your inserts.
You should wash your inserts after every time you wear them.Silicone inserts can be washed with other clothing, but they must be hand washed.
Step 15: Put your cloth inserts in your other clothes.
You can wash your clothes with similar colors if you rinse them with mild detergent. If you want, you can put them in a lingerie bag and wash them with your bras. You can wash the top of your bathing suit with the inserts inside.
Step 16: You can clean your inserts with soap and water.
Hold your inserts under running water when you are ready to wash them. The cups should be cleaned in a circular motion with hand or dish soap.Remove the soap and water. To wash your inserts, use a dime-sized amount of soap.It should be enough to use for both of them.
Step 17: Allow your inserts to air dry.
Leave your cloth and Silicone inserts out to dry.If the inserts are shaped oddly after the wash, you can shape them with your hands.Silicone inserts will dry in 30 minutes, and you can pat them dry with a towel. The cloth inserts will dry in a few hours. You can either clip your inserts to a drying rack or leave them on a flat surface.
