Step 1: Before you clean your shoes, let any mud or dirt dry.
To clear the treads, tap the soles together.To get into the shoe's crease, use an old toothbrush to remove the larger pieces of dirt.
Step 2: Take out the laces.
The laces should be put in a container with water and detergent.You could buy new laces and save yourself some time.If you want to do craft projects, get rid of the old pair.
Step 3: It's a good idea to clean the soles.
In a small bowl, make a solution of equal parts water and baking soda.Rub the paste into the soles with the toothbrush.Next, wipe the soles clean.
Step 4: A detergent solution can be made.
In a basin with cold water, add a few drops of laundry detergent.The solution should be mixed together.
Step 5: The toothbrush should be dipped in the solution.
Use circular motions from the outside of the stain to clean your shoe.An old electric toothbrush is a great alternative to a regular toothbrush.When the canvas is clean, rinse and repeat.To remove soap from the shoe, rinse it well with more cold water.It's important to do this carefully because dried soap can leave their own stains on your shoes.Do the other shoe first.Try not to get any water inside of the shoe when rinsing.
Step 6: Allow your shoes to dry.
Put the shoes in aventilated area and let them dry.It's a great idea to put them outside on a warm day.To help the shoes keep their structure as they dry, ball up a rag or paper towel and stuff them inside their shoes.Before you wear them, make sure they are dry.
Step 7: If you want to wash the shoelaces, scrub them.
Let shoelaces dry.Wait for your shoes and laces to fully dry after they are washed.Enjoy your new shoes!

Do not put them in the dryer.The result will be shrunken and distorted shoes.Put the shoes in aventilated area and let them dry.
