If you have some tissue paper and tape, you can wrap a present. If you don't want to see through the wrapping to your gift, use 1-2 sheets of tissue paper to fold over the sides of the present. To add tissue paper to a gift bag, pinch the middle of the paper and pull it through the air.Attach a card or bows to make your gift stand out.
Step 1: There are pieces of tissue paper on a table.
Pick out several pieces of tissue paper in different colors.Spread them out on a flat surface and layer them on top of each other evenly. If you want to prevent your gift from being seen through the paper, layer several pieces of tissue paper on top of each other. If you want a smooth look, choose pieces of tissue paper that aren't crumpled.
Step 2: You can check the size of your gift by placing it in the center of the tissue paper.
To make sure the gift is large enough to cover each side, pull the sides of the tissue paper. If your tissue paper is too big, you can either trim it or fold it over. The gift should be placed on the tissue paper.
Step 3: The tissue paper should be folded over the top of the gift.
The edge of the tissue paper should be folded over the gift tightly.Hold the edge in place so the gift doesn't fall off.
Step 4: Pull the opposite edge and secure it with tape.
While still holding the first edge in place, bring the opposite edge of tissue paper to the top of the gift as well.To keep it in place, tape it down the edge.A nice seam can be created by folding the opposite edge of the tissue paper along its length. If you don't want the tape to be visible, use double-sided tape.
Step 5: Straight creases can be formed by folding the ends of the gift in towards each other.
The 2 ends of your gift are secured with tissue paper. The tissue paper should be brought to the center of the gift so that it lies flat. The ends should be secured with tape.If your gift is not perfect, tie it with ribbon instead.
Step 6: If you want, decorate the tissue paper with ribbons or adornments.
Use ribbon to tie a bow onto the gift, or stick on a premade bow for a quick finishing touch.Add stickers to the tissue paper for a unique design or draw on it with markers or pencils.Birthday balloons can be drawn on the tissue paper using colorful markers.Adding tissue paper pompoms to your gift is a great way to finish it off.
Step 7: There are 3 sheets of tissue paper on the flat surface.
You can choose any color of tissue paper.Place them on top of each other with their edges lined up.You may need to use more than 3 sheets to make sure you can't see the gift through the paper if you choose lighter colors.
Step 8: You can put your item at the top of the tissue paper.
Below the top edge of the tissue paper, place your gift.If you put it in the center, you will have the same amount of tissue paper on both sides of the gift.
Step 9: The tissue paper should be rolled all the way down to the bottom edge.
Roll the item in the tissue paper towards the bottom edge of the paper if you hold the top edge against the object.Keep the object in the middle of the tissue paper by rolling slowly. It can be difficult to keep your item centered in the tissue paper as you roll it.
Step 10: To create a long crease, fold the bottom edge of tissue paper over.
This isn't required, but it will make your job look better.Your gift will go along the entire length if you fold the bottom edge of your tissue paper. The folded edge should be placed on top of the roll.
Step 11: Tapes are used to secure the rolled tissue paper edges.
Place a piece of tape along the edge of the roll to keep it from coming undone. If your gift is long, place multiple pieces along the tissue paper roll.If you don't want the tape to be seen, use double-sided tape.
Step 12: The tissue paper can be tied off with ribbon.
Pick out ribbon that matches your paper and cut it into strands. To find the edges of your gift, feel the tissue paper and tie it with a ribbon. If you're using curling ribbon, you can either tie it into a bow or use scissors. The method can be used to wrap small and irregularly shaped items.
Step 13: If you need to put the gift in the bag, wrap it in a layer of tissue paper.
Wrap a fragile gift in a piece of tissue paper and put it inside a bag.As long as the tissue paper is covering the gift, it doesn't need to be wrapped perfectly. If you are worried about the gift falling out of the tissue paper, use tape to secure it.Extra fragile items should be wrapped in tissue paper.
Step 14: Depending on the size of your gift bag, spread out 1-2 sheets of tissue paper.
If you add tissue paper to a small bag with a gift card or piece of jewelry, you will only need a single piece.Larger bags can hold up to 4 pieces of tissue paper. Each piece of tissue paper should be spread out.Cut a piece of tissue paper in half.
Step 15: If you are using multiple sheets, layer the tissue paper in a fan pattern.
Instead of placing a bunch of pieces on top of each other, place them in a circle so the paper's corners are visible. This makes a beautiful tissue paper display. If your tissue paper is one-sided, place the side with the pattern face-down.
Step 16: You can wave the tissue paper through the air by pinching the middle of it.
Use your fingers to grasp the piece or pieces of tissue paper in the center and lift it up in a single motion.Don't pull the paper too hard or it will rip.The flower-like visual can be created by pinching the center of the tissue paper.
Step 17: You can display the crisp points by putting tissue paper in the bag.
Take the pinched portion of the tissue paper and put it into the bag so the points are evenly distributed. You can adjust the placement of the tissue paper until you are happy with how it looks. You should leave enough tissue paper in the bag to see the colors.
Step 18: If you want, you can add gift tags or bows.
Tie a gift tag onto the bag's handle or use tape to attach a premade bow to make it look festive. If necessary, put your card in the bag.Tie your own bow onto the bag's handle using ribbon that matches the tissue paper, instead of using a premade bow.
