How To Write a Note on Facebook

Facebook stopped allowing users to create new notes on October 31, 2020.All unpublished drafts have been deleted, but any notes you've already published will remain on Facebook.The Notes feature is no longer available, but there are still many ways to share longer posts on Facebook.You can learn how to find and save your existing Facebook Notes, as well as alternative ways to do that.

Step 1: You can go to Facebook.

You'll be able to see the notes you've created in the past if you sign in to Facebook on a computer.Even if you can't create new notes, using this method will allow you to save your existing notes into another location.If you don't already have an account, sign in now.

Step 2: Click the triangle.

It is at the top right corner of Facebook.A menu will expand.

Step 3: Click on settings and privacy.

The option has a gear icon.

Step 4: Click on the Activity Log.

You can see your activity on Facebook.

Step 5: The link will take you to a Filters page.

It is near the top of the left panel.

Step 6: Select Notes after scrolling down.

This will show notes from all time.To see notes from a specific year, use the drop-down menu at the top of the window.

Step 7: Click to save changes.

You can only see your notes in the Activity Log.

Step 8: To view it, click on a note.

The main panel contains the contents of your note.

Step 9: A copy of your note can be saved.

There is no guarantee that you will be able to keep your notes on Facebook.It's a good idea to save a copy of each note you want to keep in a text file or document on your computer.You can open a blank document or a text file.To highlight the contents of the note, use your mouse.To copy the contents to your clipboard, press either PC or Mac.Go back to your document or text file, click the scruple, and then press the paste button.

Step 10: To return to the notes list, click the X.

You can repeat the process for any additional notes you want.

Step 11: As usual, post your thoughts on Facebook.

There are no differences between making a regular post and posting a Facebook note.The only differences are that the old Facebook Notes editing screen was larger, and that Notes appeared in a separate section of your profile.When creating a standard Facebook post, you can use a text editor on your computer, phone, or tablet to write your thoughts in advance, and then paste them into the post.

Step 12: You can create a Facebook Page and use it as a website.

Creating a Facebook Page and posting your thoughts as posts can be used if you are mostly using Facebook Notes to share posts.When you create a Page, your friends can "Like" it, which causes your Page's posts to appear in their feeds.You have access to a whole set of publishing and drafting tools, including the ability to schedule posts in advance, if you choose to post from your Page.You can use Facebook's built-in Insights features to see how many people are viewing your posts.

Step 13: Start writing on Medium.

Medium is a great alternative to Facebook Notes.You can sign up for an account at https://www.medium.com.It's easy for your Facebook friends to easily click on your Medium post after you share it on Facebook.Medium has a bonus that you can make money with your writing.Medium is not the only free platform out there, but it is one of the easiest to use.Medium is one of the free and popular alternatives.

Step 14: You can use a different app to organize your notes.

If you were using the Facebook Notes feature to organize information, you can use a note organizational app.You can copy and paste your notes from either app into a personal Facebook post, and both of these apps are great for taking notes on all platforms.
