Every couple of weeks you should back up your phone to the cloud to make sure it's safe.From within the "Settings" app, you can back up your contacts, calendar, app data, chrome, documents, and Drive contents, as well as your photos and videos, to the server.
Step 1: You can open your settings by tapping your "Settings" app.
The settings app is similar to a gear.
Step 2: Once you find the "Backup and Reset" option, tap it.
You can enable it from this menu.

Step 8: Once you find the "Accounts" option, tap it.
To back up your phone, you'll need to select a specific account.
Step 9: Select your Gmail account after you tap the "Google" option in Accounts.
Step 10: You can choose to back up everything you want.
The pertinent switches will green in response.Back up all of your options if you don't know where your data is.App Data Calendar, Chrome Contacts, and Docs Drive are your standard data options.
Step 11: Go to the settings app.
This is the end of the backup process.
Step 12: Go to the "Google Photos" app.
The app is standard with all phones.
Step 13: The three horizontal lines icon can be found in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
Step 14: You can sign into your account using your email and password.
The ones you use for your phone's account should be these.
Step 15: Return to the main screen.
Step 16: If you want to back up and sync, tap the "Settings" option.
Step 17: Go to the "Backup" option.
The switch should be next to the word "On" at the top of the screen.
Step 18: To back up your photos and videos, tap "back up all."
You can use "Roaming" to back up your photos on data.
Step 19: You can verify your backup's success by viewing its contents.
