You can learn how to change the iCloud account associated with your Apple device.

Step 1: You can open your device's settings.

You can find the gray app on your home screen.Click here if you want to change your iCloud account on an iPad that you bought secondhand.

Step 2: You can use your Apple ID.

The section at the top of the screen contains your name and image if you've added one.If you're running an older version of the software, you should use the cloud.

Step 3: Click Sign Out if you scroll down.

The password can be typed into the dialog box.

Step 5: To turn off, tap.

The screen is in the upper-right corner.

The screen is in the upper-right corner.During the sign-in process, the screen will intermittently display the message "Signing into iCloud"

Step 13: Enter your device's password.

This is the code you used to set up your device.

Step 14: Your data needs to be merged.

If you'd like the calendars, reminders, contacts, notes, and other data stored on your device to be merged with your iCloud account, tap if not.

Step 15: Go to iCloud.

The second section of the menu has it.

Step 16: You can choose the type of data you want to store.

In the "APPS USING ICLOUD" section, slide each desired type to the on or off position.If you sign in to your current account on iCloud, the selected data will be available.You can scroll down to see the complete list.

It is at the top of the dialog box.If you want to create a new Apple ID, click below the apple ID field on the screen, then follow the onscreen instructions to set up your free account.

Step 25: You have to enter your Apple ID and password.

The email address and password associated with your Apple ID can be typed into the labeled fields in the right pane of the dialog box.

Step 26: Click to sign in.

The dialog box is in the lower-right corner.

Step 27: Allow the Preferences to make changes.

You can enter your Mac's admin name and password.Enter another device's unlock code if prompted.You have enabled two-step verification.

Step 28: You can select sync preferences.

If you'd like the calendars, reminders, contacts, notes, and other data stored on your device to be merged with your iCloud account, check the upper selection in the dialog box.If your Mac is lost or stolen, check the lower box to make sure it's there.

Step 29: Click on that.

The dialog box is in the lower-right corner."Find My Mac" uses your Mac's location to find you.

Step 30: Next to "iCloud Drive" is a box.

If you want to store files on the cloud, do so.Click on the button next to "iCloud Drive" in the dialog box to find out which apps have permission to access it.

Step 31: To sync with iCloud, you have to select the types of data.

You can check the boxes below "iCloud Drive".If you want to back up and access your Photos on the cloud, check " Photos"Your data can be accessed on any device signed in to your current account.To see all the selections, scroll down.

Step 32: The previous owner should be contacted.

You need to contact the person you bought the phone from to get them to remove the device from their account.There is only one way to remove this account from the device.You will still be asked for their login information after a factory reset.

Step 33: Ask the previous owner to log in.

The previous owner can release the phone from their account on the iCloud website.They should log into icloud.com with the account associated with their device.

Step 34: Go to the website and click on the settings button.

This will open their settings page.

Step 35: If you want the previous owner to know their old phone is in the list, click it.

This will open a new window.

Step 36: They should click the "X" button next to the name of the phone.

This will allow you to log in with your own account.
