There is a traditional and festive symbol of Christmas that can be displayed on doors, mirrors, or walls. It is possible to make your own in an afternoon. They can be gifts for the holiday season.
Step 1: You can get evergreen branches from Cedar, Pine, and other clippings.
They should be trimmed to about 6 inches. The greenery you choose is up to you.You can mix!It takes less than you think. You can make a door wreath with three branches. Before you start, cut the branch into pieces. You don't have to cut them before you use them. All work.
Step 2: Pick out a few items with bright colors.
You can change the feel of your wreath with the adornments you use. There is nothing wrong with a simple wreath.Attaching a red bow at the bottom is just as festive as spraying it with glitter and going to the nines.
Step 3: A frame is needed.
You can fashion a coat into a circle with a wire coat hanger. You can buy wire frames in different shapes and sizes at your local craft or floral shop if you don't like this idea.A thin, delicate wreath can be made with a single wire frame. If you want your wreath to be full and lush, stick with a double wire frame.
Step 4: Attach floral wire to the wreath frame.
Take one end of the wire and twist it around the frame.Girl Scout knots are not needed to make sure that puppy stays in place.Don't cut! You'll be using a single strand of wire.It won't be seen through the greenery.
Step 5: The evergreen branches have the tips at one end.
The floral wire is attached to them.Wrap your floral wire around the stems at least three times and lay a small bunch of greens on your frame.Don't cut the wire yet!
Step 6: Wrap the frame around.
The stems of the first bundle should be covered with a second bundle.Wrap wire around the stems of the bundles and keep adding the same-sized bundles. The first bundle should be tucked under the last one.As necessary, adjust the greenery and stems.
Step 7: It's time to finish off the wire.
Tuck it under the nearest bundle, secure it with a knot, and cut it.Before cutting the end, leave a few extra inches.Form a loop at the end of the wire and twist it around to make a hanger.
Step 8: Attach the ends of pine cones or berries to a wreath with a new piece of wire.
