A fairy garden is a small garden. It has a fairy house and miniature furniture. If you choose to buy them, they are cheap and easy to make. You can make your own fairy garden furniture by yourself.
Step 1: Cut and glue four twigs together to make a seat.
Pruning shears can be used to cut twigs.Make sure they are straight and the same thickness.Attach the twigs side-by-side to make a seat. The twigs should be straight and lined up.If there is any discrepancy, sand the ends of the twigs. The twigs should be no thicker than 4 inch (0.64 cm).
Step 2: Cut two twigs shorter than your seat.
Measure across the twigs.Cut two twigs after adding another twig-width to your measurement. The width of one twig is the twig-width.Add 4 inch (0.64 cm) to your measurement if you aren't sure. You don't need a ruler. You can cut the twig by holding it against the seat.
Step 3: Close to the narrow edges, glue the supports across the seat.
The bottom ends of the supports should be flush with the seat's front edge, and the top ends should extend past the back edge. The supports should be Glued away from the narrow side edges.
Step 4: There are two twigs for the legs.
The two front legs should be 2.5 cm long. The back legs need to be at least 2 inches long.If you want, you can make them longer. The front legs have to be straight. The back legs can be any shape you want.
Step 5: Glue the front legs to the seat.
There is a drop of hot glue on the bottom of the seat.If you want to make sure the seat is touching the support, you need to glue one of the front legs into the glue. This step should be repeated for the other leg.Glue the front legs to the seat.
Step 6: Attach the back legs to the seat.
There is a drop of hot glue on the outside edge of the extended support.Make sure the seat is parallel to the ground by standing it up on its front legs.Put the back leg in place. This step should be repeated for the other leg.
Step 7: Cut and glue the twigs.
Measure across the back supports from the outside edge to the inside edge.Attach the twig to the supports by cutting it and glueing it down.If you wish, you can add a second backrest just below it.You can skip the backrest if your back supports are not straight.
Step 8: The seat should be decorated as desired.
To use as a cushion, place a tuft of moss on the seat.Clear glass or plastic beads can be used to decorate the chair.Attach more beads to the back rest by twisting some gold or copper wire.
Step 9: The table top was made with a thin disk from a thick branch.
A branch that is about 1 to 2 inches thick is a good choice. The table needs to be nice and smooth before you can saw off the end of the branch.Next, use a table saw or hacksaw to cut a thick disk.Use a pen or pencil to make marks on the branch. While cutting, hold the branch against the flat surface. It is possible to use a pre-cut disk of wood from the arts and crafts store. If you don't mind the thread holes, a wooden button may work.
Step 10: Pruning shears can be used to cut twigs.
The twigs should be about 1 to 2 inches long. The table will be more stable and less likely to wobble if you cut three legs instead of four.
Step 11: If you want a stronger table, you should drill three holes into the disk.
Make sure the holes are wide enough for the table legs. There are holes in a triangular formation. The holes should be pointed towards the center of the table.
Step 12: Put a drop of glue in each hole.
Hot glue, tacky glue or wood glue can be used.As hot glue sets up fast, be prepared to work quickly.Place three drops of glue on the flat side of the disk in a triangular formation if you didn't make the holes.
Step 13: Attach the twig to the glue.
You may have to place something around the legs to support them if you used tacky glue or wood glue. There are mounds of clay that will work, but you can also use pebbles or wood.
Step 14: The table should be turned right side up to decorate it.
Set up your fairy garden by finding a spot. There are acorn cap tea cups. You can make a mini floral arrangement using seeds, beads, and flowers.
Step 15: You can cut and glue twigs together to make a bed base.
Pruning shears can be used to cut twigs.Make sure the narrow ends are even by hot glueing the twigs side-by-side.If they are jagged, you can either leave them as is or sand them down for a nicer finish. The amount of time you cut the twigs is up to you.Something between 3 to 4 inches would be ideal.
Step 16: The bed posts should be cut with four twigs.
It would work if it was between 1 to 2 inches. You can either make all four bed posts the same length, or you can make the one set longer.
Step 17: Put hot glue on the bed posts.
Next to a corner, place a bead of hot glue on the narrow edge.Press a twig into the glue and it will leave a small amount of twig beneath the bed base. For all four legs, repeat this step.If you made your twigs different lengths, use the shorter ones for the foot of the bed.
Step 18: If you want, you can make a headboard using two twigs.
There are two bedposts on the head of your bead.Attach the twigs to the posts with hot glue. One twig should be closer to the top than the other.Attach a bead to the bed post.A bead made of plastic or glass would look great.
Step 19: Moss and fabric can be used to make bedding.
There is a tuft of moss on the bed.Cut a square out of fabric and drape it over the bed.The moss should be in a different color for the pillow.
