There is a fun variant of Solitaire called Clock Patience.Like other versions of Solitaire, Clock Patience is played by one player.It requires almost no strategy, and winning comes down to chance.If you want to play Clock Patience, you need to deal your cards, play through the deck, and learn how to win the game.
Step 1: It's a shuffle.
The standard set of cards will work for this game, so get a deck at the store or find one around the house.If you don't count out your cards, you will not be able to win.Get ready to deal.If you have an internet connection, consider playing online.
Step 2: There is a large, flat surface.
A game of Solitaire requires a lot of space.You can play on a large flat surface.If you need more space, you can play clock patience on the floor.
Step 3: The cards should be dealt first.
The cards are arranged in 12 piles of four and positioned in a circle.One pile for 12 o'clock is one of the 12 piles that take the position of a number on a clock.Each pile has four cards when you deal the cards face down.
Step 4: The middle is where the remaining stack should be.
Four cards are left after you deal four cards into their 12 piles.The 13th stack is placed in the middle of the circle.
Step 5: The first card should be played.
The 13th pile has four cards and one of them has to be put on top of the stack.Look at the number on the card.Where the card goes will be determined by the number or face.
Step 6: The card should be moved to the pile.
The number of cards in the stack is associated with the 1 o'clock position.The Jacks and Queens should be placed in the 11 and 12 o'clock piles.Kings will be placed in the middle or 13th pile.Under the stack it belongs in, slide the card face up when you find the correct pile.
Step 7: Turn over the next card.
Turn over the top card of the pile.This is your next card.Place that card in a pile.A 7 of diamonds would go into the bottom of the pile.A queen of spades would face down at the bottom of the pile.
Step 8: Continue playing cards.
For each card that you place in the correct pile, flip over the next card from that pile and play it.If you want to play clock patience, try to place the cards as quickly as you can.Continue until there are no cards to flip over.
Step 9: Win if you turn over all the cards.
If you flip over and play your last card, you will find that all of the cards have been placed into their piles.All Jacks will be in the 11 o'clock pile, the four Kings will all be at the middle pile and so on.If you want to play another hand, shuffle your cards.
Step 10: Lose if you fail to turn over all the cards.
If you expose all four kings but other cards are still facedown, you lose the game.Don't be frustrated because clock patience is a game of chance.Try again after you shuffle your cards.
Step 11: Don't fret about strategy.
Strategy doesn't factor into Clock Patience.The order of the cards is affected by the order in which they're dealt.The exact number of piles that you dealt gives you a 1 in 13 chance of winning.
