What is a stationary drapery panel?
Stationary panels are used for decorative purposes only meaning they are not meant to open and close. Stationary drapery panels are typically hung on each side of a window or can also be hung in between fairly close multiple windows on a wall.
How do you measure for stationary curtains?
- Measure the width of the window opening from outside edge to outside edge of the window casing.
- Add 6" to each side (12" total).
- Take the total number (your measured width plus what you added to each side), and divide it by the number of panels you want to order.
