I'm 38 and a half weeks pregnant, I have dilated 1 cm and 50% efffaced.
I went to the doctor today and found out that I was dilated.She said I probably had another week.Can it take that long?Is it possible that I can have this baby any time??
It can take a long time if this is your first baby.Don't get your hopes up that it's going to be immediate because it might not be and you'll end up disappointed.
Guess what?My doctor told me the same thing at my 38 week appointment.I'm dilated by 1 cm.
I was told I could go in 3 weeks.My neighbor was dilated for over a month.
It can take that long to have a baby, I had my baby on Jan 10 and it took me a week to get to 1 1/2 cm.
