In Metal Gear Solid V, you can manage the mother base.
Punished “Venom” Snake is a great leader.This aspect of the Big Boss's personality and background story was only touched upon in the first game of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.Micromanagement can be considered a game in and of itself in the Phantom Pain.You will have to rebuild and manage the Mother Base and private army that you lost nine years ago to get back against the people who played you.
Step 1: You should finish Episode 2.
This mission will show you how to use your iDroid and Fulton Recovery System.The latter will make it easier to extract personnel.
Step 2: Free roam, take on missions, side ops and more.
Once you finish Episode 2, take on a mission.If you want to take the first mission or side op, go to the mission lists on your iDroid.If you want to know more about Afghanistan and the controls, then you should also use free-roam.
Step 3: Interrogate the soldiers.
Bases and outposts with more than 4 soldiers will usually have specialists and prisoners.When you are on a mission, side op, or just free-roaming, make sure to use the LB or L1 when holding soldiers up with your weapon or choking them.You should see the location of specialists and prisoners on the map.
Step 4: Soldiers and prisoners were removed from Fulton.
Proceed to the location of the specialists and use the Fulton Recovery System on them.Some specialists and prisoners have high ratings, which will allow the Mother Base unit to level up faster.
Step 5: The main story missions should be completed.
Your Mother Base will have a Command Platform and R&D, Support, and Base Development units.By completing the main story missions, you will be able to add more people to your Mother Base, as well as aid you in the development of weapons, items, and equipment.
Step 6: You can check a platform availability on your iDroid.
You can manually check available platforms by opening up your iDroid and navigating to Base Facilities under the Mother Base tab.You should see which platforms are available, how much they cost, and how long it takes to complete their construction.Miller will let you know at the end of the mission the creation of a unit and platform.
Step 7: Once a platform is available, construct it.
Once it's available, you should have enoughGMP from finishing missions and side ops to build a platform.If you don't have GMP, you should try to replay some of the main missions that you've already done, such as searching for diamonds in enemy bases and outposts.Getting an S-Rank in a mission will give you a lot of GMP.In free-roam, you can interrogating soldiers for the location of an outpost's diamonds and other resources.
Step 8: On your iDroid, check Mother Base.
You can manage your units now that you have platforms for them.Under the Mother Base tab, open up your iDroid and look for Staff Management.
Step 9: There is access staff management.
To manage the personnel for these units, navigate to their respective tabs under Staff Management.
Step 10: Sort by personnel.
You can sort the personnel under the unit by pressing theRB or R2 button.You can sort personnel based on their compatibility with their units.
Step 11: personnel to other units
If one of your personnel has higher ratings for units other than the one they are currently in, you will need to transfer them there.When the personnel's name is highlighted, press on the Change Assignment button and choose the option to transfer him/her to a unit.
Step 12: Troublemakers should be dealt with.
You can dismiss personnel who have the Troublemaker special skill and those with low ratings on the Staff Management menu.To deal with these personnel, highlight their name and press on the change assignment button on your controller to dismiss them.If there is a Troublemaker in your unit, you should deal with him so that you don't end up with personnel developing post traumatic stress disorder and being sent to your Mother Base's Sick bay.Even if he has a high rating, don't worry about dismissing him.As you progress through the game, it will be easier to find soldiers with higher ratings.
Step 13: You need to upgrade your Fulton and Int-Scope.
Move compatible personnel with higher ratings to the R&D, Intel, and Support units.You can upgrade your Fulton and Int-Scope by going to the Weapons/Items option on the Mother Base tab on your iDroid.The upgraded Int-Scope will allow players to determine an enemy soldier's ratings.The Analyzer function will allow the player to pick up enemy conversations without having to be close to a base or outpost.
Step 14: Go back to get more people.
You can add more personnel to Mother Base if you upgrade your Int-Scope and Fulton.With the upgraded Fulton and Int-Scope's analyzer function, you will be able to identify and extract more specialists and high-level soldiers without having to resort to interrogations.You do not need to be in Mother Base to manage it.You can use your iDroid to manage your staff and build platforms anywhere in the game.
