The factory inspects it and if needed, repairs the item before reselling, usually at a significant discount.

- when you bought it it said refurbished (in this case always check if the seller gives any warranty)
- the price was much lower that the official retail price (unless its a sale)
- when you first boot windows and there are still left overs in the hdd from the previous owner.
How do I get a refund on my Acer?
You must contact Acer to receive a return merchandise authorization (RMA) before returning your product. Product arriving without an authorized RMA will not receive credit. If this is not the same, the machine may be a refurb.
