All the lights I currently use are made by a company called "Godox," but are rebranded under Adorama's "Flashpoint" brand. These lights are decent in quality while not being too expensive.
What is a flashpoint camera?
Remote power control using a Flashpoint R2 System Transmitter or R2 Family flash allows you to view and change your flash output as you shoot as well, trigger the flash and adjust other functions, from more than 150 feet away, for extreme off camera work.
Is Godox a good brand?
The Godox V1 is not just a strong performer, it's a strong value proposition for photographers. It's priced a bit lower than many first-party options, and I absolutely love the idea of a rechargeable battery in a flash, even if the charger is finicky about cables.
Are Godox flashes good?
Build Quality, First Impression. When it comes to build quality, these flashes are built significantly better than what I remember from three to four years ago. The Godox XProC Remote still feels a bit light and cheap in its design, but the flashes themselves are significantly more solid.
Can I use Godox with Flashpoint?
This means that you can control any combination of their lights with one smart trigger, the R2. It should also be noted that products branded as Godox are exactly the same as those labeled Flashpoint, albeit without the product support offered by Adorama. There's no stopping to switch the light into HSS mode.
Are Godox and Flashpoint the same?
Re: Godox vs Flashpoint? They are identical. If you are in the USA then buying the Flashpoint branded version is a good idea because you get warranty & support from Adorama.
Is Neewer and Godox the same company?
GODOX Photo Equipment Co. In The United Kingdom and Canada it is under the name of Pixpro, Aso another Chinese brand Neewer rebrand Godox for flash and other products, Neewer usually known for it's distribution. Neewer also rebrand products from other Chinese manufacturers such as Yongnuo.
Will Godox work with yongnuo?
Yes it's possible to fire units from both brands together but it won't be as convenient as when all units are part of the same system. The YN and Godox RF (Radio Frequency) protocols are incompatible therefore each brands transmitter can't talk to the other's RF receiver.Apr 5, 2018
