HELP for Heroes is to axe a third of staff and mothball three recovery centres for wounded veterans after being hit by a drop in donations caused by the Covid-19 crisis. The charity for vulnerable servicemen and women since 2007 announced today it will make up to 90 workers redundant.

How much money does help the heroes have?
Income at Help for Heroes rose by 20 per cent last year, its latest accounts show, although the charity still recorded a £5.1m deficit. The accounts of the veterans charity for the year to 30 September 2019 show that it had an income of £26.9m, up from £22.5m in the previous 12 months.Apr 6, 2020
