You won't pour distilled water on your screen.Take a corner of your microfiber cloth, dip it in the distilled water, and squeeze it until it doesn't leak.You don't want the microfiber cloth to get wet during this operation.
If you are buffing out a car, wipe the corner of your microfiber cloth from side to side or up and down, but don't do it in circular motions.Wide sweeping motions are what you want to use when wiping your screen clean.
Be sure to get this: Do not press hard on your screen.You could do a lot of damage to your screen if you do that.A dark mark could be left on the screen by pressing hard on it.So, wipe the screen.If the screen is not completely clean, repeat the process until it is, just be patient, use wide broad passes, and don't press hard.
The second remedy requires distilled water and white vinegar.If you're going to buy it, make sure it's white.It needs to be a mixture of 50% distilled water and 50% white household vinegar.
I am aware that you may be tempted to cheat and not use white vinegar, because you might not have it lying around the house.Pick up a gallon of distilled water when you go to the store to buy white vinegar.Don't drink bottled water.Doesn't count.Get the real stuff if you are going to use this method.It makes a difference.
When you get a gallon of distilled water, fill half a spray bottle with it and the other half with white vinegar.Shake the spray bottle to make sure it's mixed well.
You can use this mixture to spray part of your microfiber cloth and then wipe the screen with broad strokes to remove any remaining streaks.The screen will be clean and free of fingerprints and build-up that may have accumulated over time.
