Is it okay to run a lawn mower on gas?

The oil gas mix was put in the 4-stroke lawnmower by my father-in-law.Is this going to cause a problem? Is it a good idea to get the gas out? Will I be able to fully empty the tank?

It will keep the skeeters at bay but will have no long term effects. An inexpensive hand siphon can be found at an auto parts store.

You don't need to do anything. The engine won't smoke with a 2-cycle mix.The 4-cycle is more efficient.I wouldn't use it all the time because of the possibility of carbon build-up, but one tank will hurt.I use oil in my fuel mix because it's a light solvent oil.

Don't worry about it.If the tank gets 1/2 down, refill it with fresh gas.

One winter, a neighbor used his snow-blower.His daughter brought out a can full of gas and started it up after he left. Not long after that, it went "BLOOIE"!Yes, used lawn mower gas, not snow-blower oil/gas mix.

Like everyone else. The mower is in good shape.I burn my two cycle gas in the lawnmower at the end of the season to get rid of it.I put regular gas in it.Never had a problem.Keep an eye on your spark plug.

When I was on vacation, my uncle put something in my lawn mower. He asked what was wrong with my mower. He didn't finish mowing.I drained the tank when I came home.It was difficult to start it.I used it for several more years and it finally ran without any issues.

I use Duckhams air cooled two stroke oil, that I bought for a Yamaha RD200 20 years ago, at 400:1, just enough to turn the petrol blue. The price of gas is now $10 a gallon.

Wow!Most of the time you guys are set up for a village style of life where you can walk or ride a bicycle. We are trapped in the'suburban' model where we have to drive an average of 20 miles each way to work. Our roads and traffic signals are not set up for bicycle safety because I have a shopping center with a large grocery store.I would have to cross a major highway without a signal because the bicycle wouldn't trip the detector and there was no manual switch.Cyclists are hit by vehicles every year.Since more pedestrians are hit than cyclists, it's hard to figure out which is more dangerous.Even though gas is only $4, we have to use a lot of it, and using a 'top oil' in your 4-cycle at 400:1 will help it to live many more years.I don't think you'll be able to buy a new internal combustion-only car within ten years.I could tell you what will replace oil-based fuels, but I would have to kill you.I can tell you that it won't be alcohol.Anyone who has been paying attention knows what the mystery fuel is.Jules Verne, who predicted many modern marvels in his books, also predicted the use of this fuel which burns with the heat of the sun and produces no harmful emissions. This new fuel is the reason for the current surge in oil prices. The oil business is trying to grab as much profit as they can before the oil crash, which will be the most dangerous time in history. They know that once this is out of the bag, they will lose control of this huge share of energy market. There will be plenty of fuel for many years for our mowers. There will be very few gas stations in the future.I think we will be able to find fuel for our petrol mowers because of the new technology, but it may be too cumbersome for lawn mowers, motorcycles and small aircraft.

Our socialist government has not taken any of the economy-stimulating steps that have been taken in the United States of America, so I like your take on the oil crisis.I think you will come out of your recession a little quicker than us, since I was knocked off by a lady taking her son to school in a large Mercedes 4 x 4.They always say that they never saw you.

It's hard to see roadside objects when you're talking to the kids, drinking, putting on makeup, watching a movie, smoking a cigarette, and driving a vehicle at 55 mph in a 35 mph zone.

The age of gasoline and Diesel is over according to my take on the current fuel crisis.I don't think you'll be able to buy a new internal combustion-only car within ten years.I could tell you what will replace oil-based fuels, but I would have to kill you.I can tell you that it won't be alcohol.Anyone who has been paying attention knows what the mystery fuel is.Jules Verne, who predicted many modern marvels in his books, also predicted the use of this fuel which burns with the heat of the sun and produces no harmful emissions. This new fuel is the reason for the current surge in oil prices. The oil business is trying to grab as much profit as they can before the oil crash, which will be the most dangerous time in history. They know that once this is out of the bag, they will lose control of this huge share of energy market.Think about the consequences.

There are six months left on this prediction and car lots are swimming in brand new internal combustion only vehicles and fuel prices are cheap.I think they will be around for a long time.

I know!I just read it for the first time in a long time and was wondering what I was drinking.
