Is it possible to get a new kitchen cabinet but keep the existing one?
I own a big kitchen.I want to save the countertops.Replacing door fronts or changing the cabinets is a dilemma.I have pull out drawers in all of the cabinet boxes.
It is unlikely that you can remove the quartz without damaging it, and the labor to remove/reinstall probably won't be much cheaper than a new counter.I would reface the cabinets if you really wanted to save it.pullouts are not nearly as efficient as actual drawers.
I am not sure if I agree with pulling everything out if the cabinets are good. There is a panel on the top doors.I don't know the true color of your cabinets, but how different are they from what you want? You want to get something different when you pull out your back splash. You want knobs that are black.Beth would be helpful here.
Remove the splash from the lower cabinets, paint them and replace the uppers with taller cabinets and trim.
If you don't know, professional painted cabinets are not going to look the same as a factory finish.Just be aware that quote may look like the best way to go.Do you like the arch style of your cabinet? To make sure that what you are thinking in your head is the reality, you need to look on the internet at photos of similar cabinets that are painted the same color.I don't know what market you are in but $36K sounds a bit high and I would get another quote for comparison. You should be able to make a decision that fits you and your pocketbook if you get a quote to replace the cabinets.
We thought of painting the bottom cabinets and replacing the top cabinets. It seems like the best option since we are trying to save the countertop.
Did you get a quote from Home Depot?I assume you are going to make changes to the whole kitchen and not just the wall, so can you post photos of it?
Hey Beverly, that looks nice. You must throw great parties with all that glassware.
If you are just replacing the doors on the uppers, and if they are all standard sizes, you should be able to order doors in whatever finish you like and then install them yourself. It's not hard if the holes are pre-drilled.
We take care of any issues and deal with flooring after we remove the counters.
There is always a chance.Sometimes we won't do a job for fear of being damaged.

I'm with her.Is it possible to get Conestoga or Barker doors for all of the new IKEA uppers? The only cabs that need to be refacing are the base cabs. It's a huge game change.
My BILs and I once pulled granite slabs, strapped them on a trailer, and hauled them 300 miles away, then reinstalled them atop their original cabinets.A crack.Do you mean to pull e-stone?You need strong backs. If you like your layout and counters, you should look at these money saving options.
It would also include buying new doors for the base. The frames would need to be painted or refaced.
