Is it safe to eat Pine Cones?
Is there any other wildlife that eats pine cones? There is a seven acre plot filled with Afghan pines and other trees. The idea is to give maximum carrying capacity for wildlife. After last year's perfect summer, we have an abundance of pine cones.I'm wondering if any animals eat them.
We don't have a lot of animals, but we do have some. The dogs keep the deer away from the house.I call the place "watership down" because there are enough rabbits. One of my goals was to attract cardinals and bluejays. The jays came last year.I hope the cardinal cleans up there.
There is a short-grass prairie in far north Texas.I know it's large to be considered a garden, but I'm still hoping someone can answer my question.
Nobody knows. The pine cones did not produce well in Canada so we got a lot of unusual birds this winter.I think birds eat the seeds.
The only mammal that can eat a lot of pine cones is Sasquatch, it's not known if you have any in the far north of Texas. You can watch a few videos from "Colorado Bigfoot" if you don't believe me.
