Is it true that if you cut the cat's whiskers, it will lose?

They are so sensitive that they need them for so many things.Don't cut your cat's whiskers.Why would you want to do that?

The whiskers are used in many ways to help cats be cats.Don't cut them, if they loose a whisker here or there, they will grow back.

Yes, it won't hurt the cat, but why would you want to do that, whiskers serve a purpose, they tell the cats if an area to small to enter.
