It is possible to copy drivers from one computer to another on PC or Mac.
You can learn to copy device drivers from one computer to another.It's useful when you need an older version of a driver that isn't available from the manufacturer.
Step 1: The file explorer should be opened.
Pressing the Windows Win+e on the keyboard is a fast way to do this.
Step 2: Refer to the driver repository.
Each driver is stored at C:WindowsSystem32DriverStoreFileRepository.Each driver has its own folder.Click your drive in the left panel to access this folder.
Step 3: The driver you want to copy is in the folder.
Go to the right panel and scroll down.The folder names begin with the driver's name and are listed in alphabetical order.
Step 4: The folder should be copied onto a flash drive.
If you don't have a flash drive, you can zip the folder up and send it to a cloud server.If you don't have a computer, you can copy the folder to your flash drive.Click the folder you want to copy once to select it, then press Ctrl+C.Double-click your flash drive if you scroll down the left column of the File Explorer.Click on a blank space in the right panel.Remove your flash drive after the files are copied.
Step 5: The flash drive should be put into the second PC.
Click the flash drive to open it if the contents don't show immediately.If you sign into the same account on this computer that you uploaded the folder to, you will be able to download the file.
Step 6: Go to the desktop and drag the driver folder to it.
If you prefer, you can drag it to a different location on the computer.If you downloaded a zip file, double-click it to open it, then drag the folder to the desktop.
Step 7: You can open the device manager.
You can find it by clicking the search icon next to the Start menu.The device should be type device.It will appear in the search results if you click.
Step 8: You can expand the group that contains the device you want to install.
The correct group may already be expanded because the driver needs to be installed.If you are installing the driver for a sound card, you should expand the Sound, Video, and game controllers group.
Step 9: Click on the device and selectProperties.
This opens the window.
Step 10: Click on the driver tab.
It is at the top of the window.
Step 11: Click on the driver software on my computer.
It is the second option.
Step 12: Click on it to go to the next page.
Step 13: Double-click the location where you copied the driver folder.
Double-click if you dragged the folder to the desktop.
Step 14: Go to the driver folder and click OK.
The selected folder is added to the update drivers dialog.
Step 15: Click next.
The folder will be scanned by Windows.
Step 16: The instructions to install the driver can be found on the screen.
Step 17: You can use the open finder.
The first icon on the dock is at the bottom of the screen.
Step 18: As you click, press option.
There is a bar menu at the top of the screen.
Step 19: Click to access the library.
Step 20: Click on the folder.
Double-click if you need to copy drivers.
Step 21: There is a folder on the flash drive.
If you don't have a flash drive, you can zip the folder up and send it to a cloud server.If you don't have a computer, you can copy the folder to your flash drive.There is a flash drive in the left column of Finder.The driver needs to be moved to the flash drive.
Step 22: The second Mac needs a flash drive.
If you uploaded the folder to a cloud account, sign into that same account on this computer, download the zip file, and then unzip it to the computer.
Step 23: Click the flash drive if you want to open Finder.
The contents of the drive will show up.
Step 24: There is a folder on the hard drive.
Unless it has been renamed, it is usually called.The driver is installed into the Library folder.
